Post by mill hill claret » Thu Nov 21, 2019 10:27 pm

With ee at moment ..thinking of getting a cheaper deal with 3 ...thing I want to know is ...is the coverage ( internet) pretty good on 3 and is it good on the turf as I like to check half time scores ...
thanks in advance UTC

I don’t think any network is good on the Turf at half time.

Too many people in the same place using the networks

I'm on 3 and get good coverage everywhere apart from the cinema.

I would pick a new network off the deal, not on the network at the Turf for half time. They appear on the big screen or television on the concourse.

I currently get 8 gig and unlimited texts and minutes on sim only with O2. 10 quid a month.

Been with three two years after a long period with ee.

Absolutely fine. No issues with coverage

I have also switched to three from EE. Coverage at half time still not great but better than EE was. Coverage everywhere else is fine.

Am on BT which uses the same carriers as 3 (or is it EE :? ) I think... its slow on the Turf even though its got a decent 4G signal ...

I'm on three. Guaranteed 3G signal - coverage is good too.

If you travel a lot then it's a no brainer, their go-roam probably saves me about a grand every time I go abroad (well, it doesn't cos I wouldn't use my phone like I do but you get the point).

I’m on EE and I’ll never change. Only because I have built up approx £18 of monthly loyalty allowance meaning my contract is currently £4/month. Sometimes my signal is poor, but rarely. I get good signal in most places like Cornwall or the Lakes, and Turf at half time is always going to be poor with the contention involved but that’s the same for all networks, it’ll only be solved by offering free WiFi for all there (not cheap for the club to run tbh)
