malaga area ex pats

Post by staustellclaret » Fri Nov 22, 2019 7:27 pm

Can anyone of you ex pats help me out on this

We are going on our annual golf holiday next year to benalmadana in october and was going to book some twilight golf . I wanted to know what time it goes dark in that area as a couple of courses do twilight deals after 2 and didnt want to book it if we would struggle to get round

Thanks

Not an ex-pat, but I've been over to the in-laws' old place over there at various times from autumn to new year.

What date in October?

By the end of the month it will be setting over the sea at around 6pm. If you're in a valley it'll be quite a bit sooner.

Hi, I live in Manilva the other side of Estepona & it would be around 20.30 but I’m not aware of many if any that are open after 19.30, the clubs might be but not the course.

Choose your courses carefully & I suggest a buggy on all & be prepared for the wind it gets worse the farther south you go.

My house overlooks the Torrequebrada golf course and in October I can watch them playing golf until about 5,30ish, since it starts to get dark about 7.

Just came back from Alicante in late September and most rounds were between 4 and a half hours and five due to the courses being busy . Our worst was 5 and three quarter hours .
Hopefully we will do an early bird on the Saturday and we will drop into the lounge for several and watch the clarets .
Was there for the Everton game a couple of years ago and had a good crack

Hola costadelsolclaret, kinsales one of my watering holes, I live right up on top of
the hill from Duquessa port but I’m in Malaga for the weekend to see the ballet of all things, John at the Penguin bar is my next door neighbour. If you know where montes sq is there is a good bar called the Boult hole, wolves fan (Roger) but a great guy.
