We haven't had a spot-kick since the Brighton game in February,that's 24 PL games,you'd have hoped with VAR that our lack of penalties would change,but apparently not,this is despite us playing more attacking footy for the most part this season,you do have to wonder if the blatant push on Ashley Barnes in the Southampton game doesn't warrant a VAR intervention what does.

Unless someone gets tackled around the neck we haven't got a cat in hells chance of getting a conventional penalty.
It's an unwritten rule in the Referees amended rule book.

In 2019 I think we have been awarded 3 pens and conceded 3 pens. If we're moaning that refs dont give us pens then lets at least appreciate they equally dont give them to the teams we're playing

I’ve only seen it the once but the direction the ball went could have led him to believe the defender just beat Ash to it and I’m no fan of Tierney.
