With us being 6th and punching above our weight once again and with everton and the hammers surely about to ditch there managers surely one of them is going to look at sean . I ve spoken to my dad tonight who is convinced everton will come in for him . If they do its a no brainer dyche will go . If they do its a massive quandry for sean as he litterally runs the club to a degree and is a legend . Does he go to everton whos fans aint going to be enamoured with him with the chance of a higher quality squad and to challenge the top 6 or punch above his weight with us before thevl inevatable happens and we go down .
Also if he goes who will we get

Dyche isn’t the right guy for Everton, he builds a squad that suits him, I can’t imagine him inheriting a team and turning them in to world beaters

This. Not only is he free as in available, he’s free as in there won’t be compensation to pay. The fact he’s currently without a job may speed up the decision making on the futures of Silva and Pelligrini.

Going down with SD in charge is not inevitable.

As much as I think SD continues to do a very good job at Burnley, I just don't see anything to suggest he could change to a more expansive brand of football, hence just don't see other clubs like Everton and West Ham being interested in him

They are about to start building a new stadium. With all the problems that causes a club.
He has a job for life with us, he’s going nowhere.

Why would he, he's a legacy at Burnley and he has got everything he wanted as regards training facilities, staff and everything else . people think just because he does not get the money for transfers he's going to go. he will remain at Burnley and build his own personal dream, I am convinced of that. We have one of the best managers in the premier league, I personally don't think he will leave.

That is what i am hoping likea wenger and fergusson . Only difference is they could go nowhere as they were at the top club
It depends how ambitious he is
Stick legend status which he already is
Twist show he can adapt and challenge for trophys and be remembered as a top manager with the knowledge that he could be ditched after a few bad results

"It's a no brainer Dyche will go"

It would be a no-brainer for him to go to Everton or West Ham (in their current plight), or even Horwich Wanderers

Pochetino will have his sights set higher than Everton or West Ham. Bayern or Real are far more likely.

At some point in his career sean will have to make a desision . If everton come calling it maybe his 1 and only chance

If he leaves, he leaves. If he stays, he stays. The only guarantee is that this message board will have zero influence in it.

So don’t worry! What will be will be.

They are not going to come calling, they will want a big name.

We don’t need to worry.

...and how long will he have at Everton if things go tits up?

Dyche is very calculated and more cautious than most,he wouldn't go anywhere without his plan being 100% in place by the time he gets there. He knows he can't afford to fail.

If he goes anywhere it will not be during a season.

Sounds like you're desperate for Dyche to leave

When he goes then it will be for a club with more potential, but I doubt he'd do it during the season.

Everton are a train wreck, again and will continue to do so whilst they employ managers and undermine them with transfers that the manager inexplicably can't seem to work with.

You can file Silva as over rated in England for some bizarre reason.

That is what he has got to weigh up . Will he be given time very much doubtfull as he will not be what the fans perceive to be there club deserves . So he has got to hit the ground running

Was thinking about this a few days ago to be fair, What keeps Dyche at Burnley?
How close is he to his family?
When does he have chance to see said family?
Will no doubt have enough cash in the bank to have a life most of us can only dream if so that won’t be why he’s with us.
Will only be a matter of time until he realises that is work/life balance is tits up, When that happens I will thank him for the memories and wish him all the best.

Dont think his familly comes into it as he would have not lasted so long . Depends what dyches ambition is if the big clubs come calling . Not to disimieler to brendon rogers at celtic to a degree . He was safe at celtic reveered by fans but took the gamble which seems to be working

You're fishing if you think Dyche's family don't come into anything.
He bases everything around his family and ensuring they're happy.
If you ever watched or listened to his interviews where its mentioned then you'd know that.
His family still live further down the country, they've never moved up here and he splits his time between Burnley and home, in a way that his family are happy with.

Not fishing at all . If hes done it for 6yrs he has obviously a good work to familly life balance i would have thought . So both parties are probably happy . Be even happier if a job came up closer to home thougjh

ffs Dyche has one of the best and most stable jobs going. Based on the fact that he aint stupid he is going nowhere but I am sure his accountant loves the speculation.

...for now. Just route planned from Dyche’s abode to Villa Park - 39 miles and 48 minutes...

That’s our biggest risk of Dyche leaving, no Everton or Leicester, but Villa

I’ll stick my neck out and say he want be our Manager by his 50th birthday.
This could be family reasons or as said ambition to manage at a so called bigger club. At 48 he will be thinking of the next 10 yrs or so and if that’s with us great, if not whatever the reason it will be with my best wishes.

The best thing for us is the job Wilder is doing at Sheff Utd as he seems to be the new flavour of the month. He is an excellent manager who has done well at every level he’s tested himself at and the media are waxing lyrical about him and the job he’s doing at the moment. He’s also an ambitious bloke so despite being a blade he would move (they’ve also got the ownership saga). Hopefully he’ll be above Dyche in any chairman’s thoughts.

Never thought of villa but would make sense didnt know it was nr northampton though . Dyche doesnt owe us anything though just have to enjoy the ride for the time being . Werr now in the position that rovers and noblot were in years gone by . Just hope it doesnt go tits up like it did for them
