Benefit Capital, why not?

Post by Pstotto » Sun Nov 24, 2019 3:19 pm

Why not have a benefit capital where if you're on benefit you go and live there? The irony is that if the unemployed had to create themselves (paid for), then there wouldn't be any unemployment.

Pick a nowhere place, Isle of Sheppey. They all go and live there, but SOMEBODY has to build the city from scratch, make the windows and doors, put food in the shops and mind the store etc.

Fortunately I’ve never needed benefits but some aren’t as fortunate.

I think this thread is in the poorest of taste and should be zapped.

What next, having certain sections of society getting numbers tattooed on their forearms?

Agreed .... btw Ian, still laughing at the suggestion on the " Election Predictor thread, that you might be a 6th Form Politics student, It may be that you once were, but not this side of 1975, I suspect ! :P

I left school, with my O levels, in 1969!
I did chuckle at that too.
Ever young!
