Adult Cartoons
Adult Cartoons
Saw a programme on British animation the other day which was pretty interesting. One of the films mentioned looked pretty funny and I managed to find it online. It's directed by Bob Godfrey who did Roobarb for example.
This film though is for adults and, if you are not offended by sexual matters, is very entertaining:

Haven't seen that for years!
Think i saw it as a pre-feature for A Clockwork Orange just before it's withdrawal from cinemas. A group of us schoolkids went to the old Studio complex on the balcony to see it, don't know how they let us in! The Tarzan made us all laugh.

I played pool with Bob Godfrey in a London pub when I was studying animation back in the early 80's. After I potted the black, he leapt on my back and appeared to be beating me up to an astonished pub. I held been to his studio on Greek Street earlier and held both his Oscar and BAFTA. Nice guy!

Re: Adult Cartoons
Every other film in early 70’s cinemas was porn. Bob made this film to make enough money to make non-porn films. Sad days.Hipper wrote: ↑Fri Nov 29, 2019 10:20 amSaw a programme on British animation the other day which was pretty interesting. Thankfully films like Jaws and Saturday Night Fever came along and the public started going back to the cinemas.
