Can't get to the City game, but see that it is live on Amazon.

They have a 30 day free trial, for which you have to create an account. But is a true free trial or are you hooked into a monthly payment once it expires?
Anyone know?

It is a free trial but you have to cancel if you don't want to continue.

Apparently even though they tell you this prior to the trial and then do charge you if you don't cancel just as they tell you, it is a con in some eyes.

I think you have to cancel the subscription before the next payment.

Same as most free trials.

Been brilliant tonight watching different games at different times. Well done Amazon.

Pleased I didn’t bother signing up. All matches have been available in Ireland on the Premier channels. Two a night live, inc. us, the rest on the red button. Hoping it’s similar on Boxing Day.

Got to sayy I.was impressed with the Amazon offering other than the fact that it was quite delayed through the tv (about 1 minute behind the app on my tablet)

Good picture through my PS4

Impressed and can watch it again today or just the goals (not that I want to) and the managers interview. Impressed yes

I've had Prime for years and love it. Got it originally for the Grand Tour, the ex Top Gear guys. Loads of choice and nearly all my shopping is done on Amazon too with the free same day delivery. The customer service is also excellent, probably due to it being a US company. I messaged customer services at 11 PM a couple of days ago and they tracked down a package that had said had been delivered that wasn't, explained what had happened, sent a huge apology message and added £20 onto my account as a credit for "all my troubles".

The picture wasn't as good as sky HD. Great to be able to see different games on at the same time. But 8.15pm kick offs?!?! No thank you!

I had issues with jittering on my 4k TV watching the UHD stream, but not on the Firestick with just HD. Before anyone says check your bandwidth, I have fibre to the property and all other 4K content including stuff on Prime Video worked fine. On top of that, the UHD stream was at least 1 minute behind "live", HD was about 20 seconds behind - the comparison was checked using Radio 5 Live broadcast. It was no fun getting a SkySports alert on my phone before they scored the first!

That said, during the second half everything was really smooth and the quality (of the picture, not the football) was much better. I also like the studio team and their approach, I think if they can get the stream sorted it will be so much better.

Watched it last night in 4K and didn't experience any buffering or jittering. I'm impressed with Amazon and I hope they outbid Sky next time the whole caboodle is up for grabs.

I'm really fed up of Sky. The whole silly dance you have to do with them at the end of your contract is something I won't be doing when our current one ends next year.

Everyone I know is paying a different amount for the same thing. You only have to look on M0neysupermarket or H0tdeals to see the disparity in their billing.

It's a doddle to cancel the free trial. You just do it online in a few clicks.
It'll let you keep the 30 days of Prime and then you won't be charged.

The dance of a mad man who's ranting at the sky. Or should that be Sky.

I watched last nights games on DAZN because they were 45 seconds in front of Amazon.
Pretty poor for a leading stream supplier.

No problems with the picture quality but why do we have to have the same dumb pundits as the other channels. This is just “me too” and a missed opportunity

It was ok bar repeating the helicopter shot from around 6pm as if that were live . The commentary was a bit “ crap stream “ as well, was almost expecting a pair of t1ts to come into view and a “ win 50k” box .

The match had just started -

I quote “ Dyche under major pressure atm , they love him here when they’re winning but get very moody when things aren’t going well “ the bell end had obviously mixed us with West Ham pure belltoolery at it’s finest .

There were more than enough belltools on this forum last December calling for Dyche to be sacked.

Pretty slick coverage, but drop the win probability feature,we all knew City were going to stuff us,as well as Liverpool doing Everton,I'm sure las night as I was watching the Scouse Derby towards the end the commentater said at the end of the game we will be going over to Jim Rosenthal for analysis....Jim Rosenthal

I watched some of the games last night and all of the goals highlights. I have Prime app on a UHD TV and my picture quality was excellent. I was very impressed with the menu for each game post match as well.

I watched us on Tuesday and the Scouse mismatch last night and was impressed as well. Full marks to Amazon.

Will be interesting what happens, if Amazon really wanted they'll have the finance to blow SKY and BT out of the water. Personally I think theres way too much footy on TV now, i tend not to bother these days unless it's a big game.
