Thanks for your patience and welcome back
Re: Thanks for your patience and welcome back
Thanks a lot to everyone for getting the messageboard back online.
Re: Thanks for your patience and welcome back
Good to see it back. The posts seem to be missing numbers. It's the same on desktop or mobile. (And search still doesn't work.)

I was getting really worried and the thought of signing up to Claretsmad was really playing on my mind, the thought of having to dodge the tumbleweed over there to get my Clarets fix was really worrying me,it used to be such a fantastic message board what happened over there?

I’ve enjoyed the break. This place is mental, most of the time.

Thanks for your efforts in getting the site back up and running, I suspect you are now updating the disaster recovery procedures and reviewing the backup/restore policies. Along with update and backout procedures.

Haven't read all the thread, so apologies if this has been reported earlier. Each post used to have a number but now they don't.

Great to have it back, it's been missed! Good work, Dibradio. I even resorted to the dark side of Clarets Mad at one point and it was truly awful, it's just one big advert.
One thing that seems to have changed on here is links no longer open in a separate window, they open in the same one so it takes you away from the site. It's only a small gripe, like.

Just checking I can post. I wasn’t able to yesterday.
Re: Thanks for your patience and welcome back
I guess that’s now sorted. Good work and glad to be back. UTC.

Good to rejoin you all and thanks to Dibradio and others for all their hard work.
Have missed my daily fixes of all things claret on here though the 2 defeats v Palace and City made abstinence a little easier.
Welcome back to one and all!

made me realise how much time I spend on here !!! Glad to have us all back Well done for fixing it !!!!!!
Re: Thanks for your patience and welcome back
Ah, search kind of works but not very well because it excludes words that it thinks are too common. The trouble is it thinks a lot of words are too common. You can't search for Brighton or Arsenal for instance or any of our player names as they are too common.

Great work all in restoring service, a time out probably worked well with the two losses and the addition of new software can only be a bonus.
Thanks to DiBradio and others.

Well done CT and Dibraidio, thank god we are back live. I’m convinced that we lost the last two matches due to the board being off line, win at the weekend to prove me right will be very welcome.
Thanks for all your hard work.

Tony I have notice that when I click on a link which has been posted it doesn’t open a new tab like previous, instead it takes you away from up the clarets to the link.
Only a minor annoyance as I can just click open in new tab but thought you would want to know.
I’m am only using the site on the mobile version so not sure if it’s an issue on desktop.

I also ventured onto the old site, what a travesty that place is these days. The weirdest bit is the one poster who seems to post Zionist conspiracy stuff on every thread - bonkers.

I had never been on any kind of social media, done a review or sent an e-mail before I joined UTC in August, but the straightforward and 'user friendly' way that UTC works has given me confidence in using an I Pad. Many thanks to everyone who got UTC working again.
