Oh dear, he doesn't half try to convince himself it's a job big enough for his ego.

I heard this on the way home from the match last night. He'd been covering our game for BBC and was full of it. Didn't know whether it was for real initially, let's face it he doesn't have a reputation for telling the truth.

Its nice to see our Asian supporters groups posting on hear
Owen Coyle was our major reason we got promoted in 2009 and raised the bar re expectations of our club
The leaving was badly handled by all parties as was his immediate successor appointment
I dont wish him ill .Its a long way to go to get your foot back on the managerial ladder though.
I thought he may be better off at perennial sackers Watford but perhaps hes not exotic enough for their perverse tastes

After a few weeks the translator reported back to the board that they still couldn't understand a word the bullshitter was spouting.

The only disappointment is he can only go on his 'home visit' leaving them one place lower than they were when he arrived.

It won't be Hindi in Chennai. They vigorously resist any imposition of Hindi as a language down there and insist on Tamil.

I wish OC all the very best in his new venture. I have been a claret ever since I was a kid back in the late 60's and his Burnley teams were a great watch. Happy days. I will always buy him a pint if I bumped into him. He left for a lot more money. Who wouldn't.

At least he has managed to get a job managing at a higher level than the Celtic position he was touting himself for 10 years ago.....

"Owen is a renowned name in British football, with a fantastic career as both player and coach, ,” said the Chennaiyin FC co-owners in a statement on their website." We can't argue with that statement can we ;)

Drawn his first game.
Conceded the equaliser right at the end.
How sad.
