New Burnley Youtube Channel
Great to see this site is back up and running! Many have been at a loss without it
After thinking about it for some time, set up a new unofficial youtube channel for fans views before during and after games. This is in no way to replace anything that this site or other mediums / channels do.
Initially it was going to be a bit of a spoof but after doing the Palace game spur of the moment, realised its very hard to get enough content (at least that isn't too close to the bone ) So the City one was slightly more serious. Will probably end up a mix of the two.
Loads of work to improve it (especially the editing and filming) but appreciate any comments, suggestions and ideas. No doubt how it looks now isn't how I envisage it will look in the future. Definitely not the finished article but wanted to at least start. And learnt a bit from first one before we started second!
Also before Spurs game looking to get some short clips with predictions, hopes and expectations from fans ahead of a trip to this amazing new stadium.
Not looking to replicate what anyone else is doing as such. Burnley is a unique town with unique fans and humour. And looking to try and do this in our own way. So probably will continue handheld and a bit raw. More footage and involvement from other fans the better
For anyone who wants to share any videos for the game please send to the FB page. Please also give it a like and follow along with the other social media pages:

That said not probably going to go all big cameras and lights etc. Partly because want it to look / feel more 'real' and partly because its tough enough to get willing participants without shoving a big camera on them.
Loads of stuff that needs to be improved. But just wanted to crack on with it and it will improve with time.

reach out to Nicky Hawkins who does Wet Ham Fan TV and get his advice - he only seems to use a basic setup and it's more than good enough.cricketfieldclarets wrote: ↑Fri Dec 06, 2019 12:13 amYep need to get a mini boom mic for the phone.

Re: New Burnley Youtube Channel
I enjoyed them two videos and Tansey is a funny guy.
I don't know how long I would continue watching the same sort of question based vids though?
Different crowd scenes are good and I love the opening scene of the view from the Culvert bridge.
If you want to go bigger and get more hits then contact the veterans side and interview former players. Ask John Francis what it was like to jump on the fence at York after scoring the league winning goal? Or super fans about the hard and funny moments suffered up and down the country watching the clarets.

Contents tough. Going in front of the camera is the easy bit believe it or not. Thinking of the ideas, getting the guests and doing the editing is the hard bit.

For more interaction with away fans, especially from far away. Have them taste test Black pudding, Bene n hot or Lancashire hotpot? Foreign fans reight thick Gravy.cricketfieldclarets wrote: ↑Sat Dec 07, 2019 12:37 amGood suggestions. Tansey and I know a few ex 4th division players so hoping to get them involved.

Latest video now online
Burnley fans are excused for skipping the middle bit
Some good interviews before and after the game. Including Albert from North London who supports Burnley and gives us all reason to stay optimistic!

Bit of both. More of the atmosphere in and around the ground than anything today tried to get the match experience. Not much action to talk about haha!

No he only came first time. I suspected may be the case. Shame as he has a brilliant sense of humour and is very quick. He is brilliant on camera too. So pretty much doing it all myself at the minute.

Re: New Burnley Youtube Channel
Maybe get down to the players entrance before the Villa game and film the players mingling with supporters. Opposition players getting off the coach etc..
I don't think your phone will work to a good enough standard in the dark for the United game.

Good idea.
At some point I may invest in better kit. But trying to make it as much about the matchday experience rather than go all TV like.

So far you have shown us different things of the matchday. Remember people only walk around a bit of the ground to their turnstile and don't see what's going on around the other side.cricketfieldclarets wrote: ↑Sun Dec 15, 2019 10:38 pmGood idea.

I forgot how much needle happened on the corner as I nip down the side streets to the 110 clubs side door after the game these days.
Things like the fanzone and the kids penalty shoot out could make good video.

Re: New Burnley Youtube Channel
Yeah even when I don't do these videos tend to walk around the ground before every game and after game same routine every game. Walk out cricketfield and down brunshaw road to meet my dad who sits at other end and soak it all up. Usually first in and last out too. Whats the rushQuickenthetempo wrote: ↑Sun Dec 15, 2019 10:52 pmSo far you have shown us different things of the matchday.
