Everton (a) - General Info Thread

For any general information that could assist for supporters going to the game at Everton - but not for ticketing or coach travel issues which are covered on other threads.

The Arkle is normally the away fans pub but you always get a few Clarets in the wetherspoons next to the ground.

For those of you who are driving and don't like parking in Liverpool, Merseyrail are one of the very few operators running trains on Boxing Day.

I'm driving to Ormskirk ( big, free station car park ) and getting the train to Kirkdale.

Magull or magull north also have free park and ride car parks and are only 5 min from the m58 , get a football combined ticket and it lets you catch the bus from Sandhills to the ground.

Last time we went we parked up near Anfield and went in the Arkles pub up that way. Might be a busier today with Liverpool being on T.V later though.

The Arkle near Anfield is the designated away pub.

I always go to the wetherspoons opposite the Aldi with my lads.

Just avoid the Brick and the Oak. The rest of the pubs are friendly enough around there.
