Post match interviews v Spurs
Just a quote so far
SD: “We’ve given the ball away five times and they’ve scored five. It’s unlike us, even against these good sides, to give the ball away so often, and it’s been a tough day.”
It's exactly like us recently

Much as I love Sean when he says things like that he makes himself sound ridiculous. We were terrible. We can’t pass and it seems we can no longer tackle.

At least he got the guts to face the press
Re: Post match interviews v Spurs
We constantly give the ball away by hoofing it all over the place. Mee and Pieters can't pass wind. Really makes himself look stupid with comments like this. Just admit we was bloody awful and do something about it
Re: Post match interviews v Spurs
We gave the ball away a few more times than 5
Re: Post match interviews v Spurs
Brilliant
Not like Burnley to give the ball away. Absolutely brilliant
We can’t pass it for toffee so where else does it go?

Erm no, he has too anyway.

Hopefully that's our "Everton moment" from last season, though I can't figure out the obvious change (Heaton for Hart) to make? Gibson? New captain? 4-3-3? 3-5-2? Not sure where we go from here, but something needs to change, and I trust Dyche to figure it out.

Aren’t we supposed to have already had our Everton moment this season?Lord_Bob wrote: ↑Sat Dec 07, 2019 5:30 pmHopefully that's our "Everton moment" from last season, though I can't figure out the obvious change (Heaton for Hart) to make? After the defeat to Sheff Utd wasn’t it?

Not really - nothing changed - just wrote it off as a bad day at the office.ksrclaret wrote: Aren’t we supposed to have already had our Everton moment this season?

We write too many games off though! Top six forget it , palace out thought and fought. Sheff Utd wrong tactics and outfootballed and out thought.
Cup games ! Forget it!

We gave the ball away countless times. Spurs managed to score from 5 of those give aways. All ably abetted by our 'after you sir' defending.
Re: Post match interviews v Spurs
Problem is the back up players aren’t god enough. Get Barnes, Taylor, Westwood, Bardlsey and JBG back fit and playing instead of Pieters, Hendrick, Lowton, J-Rod and Brady and we are a different animal.
