Does anyone on here know when our injured players are due to be match fit again?

I guess the answer is no :) , and I thought this forum tapped into the very heart of the back room gossip and facts.

I predict one "touch and go", one "will be a game day decision", one "he's back on the grass but won't be ready Saturday", one "very close but not this week", and one "won't be available because we haven't seen him since 4 am Monday morning in a bar in Dublin".

I'd be surprised if there weren't a couple back at least for Saturday. I'm sure SD will have targeted the next two games as realistic chances to pick up more points. Far more realistic that Spurs away so not worth the risk and give them an extra 7 days recovery time.

From the video released of the players training yesterday, JBG actually looks to be taking a full part in training....I wonder how close he is.

Taylor was doing some lunging/stretches.

Couldn't see Barnes or Westwood.

Westwood is the one that worries me. His energy in the middle and his set pieces are always missed when he is out. Would like to see him and Drinkwater given a run together but admit that is unlikely now.

Unlike some on here I don't have a problem with Pieters although would prefer to see Taylor there if fit.

Barnes can be replaced with Jayrod who was getting into the right positions against Spurs and could / should have had a couple, but all strikers have days like that especially when they haven't started many games and I'd be more concerned if he wasn't getting into the right positions.

Hope JBG is back but happy with Hendrick out right.

Our squad is so weak that if we don't get the pegs in the right holes we really struggle. The likes of Rodriguez will get better with game time, and has someone else says he hit the right positions but due to lack of game time was rusty

His best team,on the whole, can compete. Anything less and we struggle with 'replacements' proving to be not good enough. The morale sapping beating handed out by Man City(let alone at Spurs) was a difficult watch. Desperately need first choice players back but we simply cannot rely on them for still more than half a season. If that turns out to be the case then I genuinely fear for our future in this division.

Can’t argue with comments about our “ best XI being competitive but a couple of changes and it gets weak pretty quickly . Taylor is a big miss and if DD doesn’t start its over for him I’m sure . JayRod looks sharp to me and just could get into gear which just might give us the leg up we need
