0-2 Reds.
Brilliant angled finish from Salah for the second.

They're a hell of a team these days Liverpool. Might see what odds I can get on a league/champs league double. They'll take some beating.

Kristensen, 22, the right back for Salzburg looking really good. Out of our league, I suppose. Literally.
Cost just five million Euros from Ajax earlier this year, according to the BT commentator.
Bargain.

Any of these Salzburg players would walk into our first team, Mwepu, Minamino - outstanding given their age. Liverpool will probably sign half of them

Salzburg will be a handful in the EL whoever they play, big result for Liverpool, they struggled in the group stage last year, and edged past Napoli in the final match, deja vu in this year's comp, but now they're in the knockouts no-one will want to draw them, that's for sure.

Don't know about half of em, Vegas, but looks like you're spot on with Minamino. Reds in talks to sign him in January. £7.25 million Euros release clause. (Five live/Liverpool Echo)

half of them will have crazy small release clauses I would imagine. Some serious talent in that team and most will be snapped up by big clubs.

Haarland has been looking around clubs today. They think he wants a step up before a big money prem move.

Get in for him, pay the 25m release clause and insert a 50m one in our contract. Sell the fact Dyche will improve him, we play 2 up front to help him. Come on clarets

His release clause is 17.5 million - not sure we will be able to compete with every top team on wages and offering Champions League football though !

It always seems to be the wages mainly for us when if comes to quality like this.
We can't/won't compete with the rest.

Can't or won't compete with teams like Liverpool, Man Utd, Bayern ?

Think we can work out which it is

Wonder what odds you could get for them doing an Arsenal and going all season without loss?

This is what I keep saying about looking abroad. You'd struggle to get a league 2 player at that price here now. With a fee like that we could afford to pay higher wages if the contract wasn't stupidly long. Why are we still trawling the lower leagues?

Normally I would agree, but it's not the very top teams he's visiting.
He will get first team football as well.

A couple of years in the premier league getting used to the pace etc without the massive pressure is perfect for him.
