Full of admiration for the guy, getting out and planning/running a project for positive action when you're distracted by the physical ailments of the disease daily. Currently undergoing chemo myself and very debilitated at times. Good luck in your endeavours Lenny and thanks for the memories in Claret n Blue !

I’m mates with a an ex teammate of Lenny’s and he’s said how hard it is seeing what was once a strong tough player become so physically weak.
He did also say is mental strength and humour isn’t dwindling

It’s bloody hard seeing it and I’m not sure quite how Lenny is dealing with it with such humour.

The same friend that I know. My parents took him out for lunch last week and he is deteriorating at an alarming rate. It is tragic to see him now when I remember what he was like pre illness. It was his son who did the skydive with Lenny earlier this year to raise funds for MND research.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Wed Dec 11, 2019 11:07 amIt really is horrible. Lenny had the heart of a lion when he played for us. Not the most gifted player but an invaluable member of.that team. No shirking from Lenny as I guess anyone who played against him would testify.
