Pigs in Blankets

Post by FactualFrank » Wed Dec 11, 2019 5:27 pm

I think I ordered 92 of them last year between 7 of us - they were all polished off by the end of the night.

Who else is a fan?

Never been a huge fan, they’re just ok for me.

A bit like pancakes, I eat them once a year

Like bacon itself, vastly over rated.

Two metre long pigs in blankets are just so wrong. Looks like someone's insides. Yuk!

There was some kill joy who was on the TV yesterday wanting information on the packaging relating to how much exercise you will need to burn of the calories in food you buy. She mentioned pigs in blankets.

She said if you eat 5, you need to run for 50 minutes to burn that off. So by my limited math Factual Frank, you'd better go for 130 minute run after Christmas dinner..

That's presuming you don't have any honey parsnips, roast potatoes in duck fat, turkey, gravy or cranberry sauce.

If that's the case you'd better get running a marathon on boxing day :D :D

Love them, having them for breakfast on buttys ( the big ones ) in the morning, if any make the lunch, I'll have many more, then snack on any left post lunch until all are gone.
I'll be hoping to see off a couple of dozen

Generally, an awful lot of fat a d gristle. It's hard to find sausages that aren't full of crap.

Better if you wash them down properly.

With 12 cans of lager.
