Sprouts
Sprouts - smell like a thousand concentrated farts while they’re cooking - and some people eat them!
Anyone else detest them?

Re: Sprouts
So long as you just blanch them, you're fine.
Don't, just don't stew the bloody things.

Re: Sprouts
I used to hate sprouts and most other greens but once past about 40 started to like most of them. Taken me to 60+ to get to grips with sprouts but I like them in moderation now. I dont like them enough to buy them on a regular basis (like I do with cabbage (especially savoy), spinach, runner beans etc) but I look forward to a few at Christmas.
I think all greens (and pulses) are pretty much fart-inducing but hopefully that can be controlled so you dont become a complete social menace.

Re: Sprouts
Brussel sprouts this year in particular will be even more despised by brexiteers. It's not the flavour it's the little Englander attitude. If they were called London sprouts they would be as popular as chips.

Re: Sprouts
Let me get this straight; noxious hot air followed by a pile of sh!t. You’re right, that does sound a lot like Brussels.
