Well done you
I thought it was absolutely dog shite..Burnley were appalling, look at the empty seats to see what people think of us. Don't get me started on Steve Bruce and his merry men of cloggers. 2 rank bad teams, managed by 2 rank bad managers refereed by a rank bad official. Either change the style of play or look for something different cos today was awful

You’re right about the reffing.

Other than that, complete and utter ********. 2/10. Must try harder.

Ref was horrendous. We passed the ball a lot.
Ridiculous conditions.

Well done Clarets.

Season ticket holder for 39 years yet there are some complete and utter be****ds on her. If that's what 4 seasons in prem brings you(nearly half a billion pounds of prem and TV money) then good on you. Personally I thought it was bloody dreadful

Whilst not a classic I enjoyed today’s game. Astonished people are giving players 4 today. I thought we were shite against Man City and Palace but some enjoyed the Palace game.

Tough conditions, against a side which also looks to nullify teams, a poor ref.

We got the job done.

Maybe you didn’t go to Spurs like I did.
That’s how we win.
Any other way we get mullered.

Did you ever use that ST to attend games?

Only asking cos over those 39 years, there have been some really low points. Today’s industrious display was not one of them and on the whole quite good so I’m struggling to understand your point.

Yes went to spurs. If you thought that or today was enjoyable then I apologise and maybe its time I stopped going or giving my opinion on Burnley because the few super fans on here are far more knowledgeable than most.

The Aston Villa fan is on a wind up. The game today was a good one. Burnley were at the races today, and got stuck in. I enjoyed that. Our control in th box could have been better, and had it been, we’d have won 2 or 3-0.

Our players looked like they wanted it, which had been missing,

Tell you what, let’s sack the most successful manager n most of our lifetimes, and replace him with someone who will “take us to the next level” coz that went really well for the likes of Blackburn, Bolton, Stoke etc.

And I’ll tell you what was bloody dreadful, the sort of shite you would have witnessed in the 80s and 90s, not hard fought top-flight wins over Newcastle, or have you forgotten how far we’ve come?

I agree with you on one thing though - there are some right bellends on here!

That’s how it is for most clubs in the division out side the top few and those with wealthy foreign owners. They can afford to play the beautiful game - the rest of us have to find a way of playing that allows us to survive. Sean Dyche is brilliant at that.

If you have had a season ticket since 1980 then most of the Burnley games you have watched will have been of inferior quality than todays game.

Why come on this forum criticising other posters and then make a ridiculous statement about the team and manager?

I think you need to take a look at your own post before finding fault with others.

If that's how you want to spend your Saturday afternoon then good for you but don't slag myself and numerous others off who have had enough of watching the ball being launched into the air at every opportunity. Since coming into the Premier we have been given nearly half a
billion pounds yet we still serve up that dross we had to endure today. (Newcastle were worse than us). Different opinions are OK everywhere except on here. Look at the crowds and maybe just maybe people have had enough. Let's see howany watch the fa up game when we toss that off to finish 17th in prem. Wow the excitement.

You can't say that people who disagree with you are [deleted]ends, and then complain because you think that other people are looking down on you. Have you considered the option of stating your opinion but accepting that other people's opinions are equally valid?

Or alternatively, as you say, you could always stop going.

Look pal, you obviously expect us to play like Liverpool, Man City or Spurs but it just ain't going to happen. Just what do you expect/want the club to do? Just take a break from Burnley, go shopping, get a hobby, go walking, whatever will make you happy, obviously watching Burnley get 3 points in the PL doesn't do it for you! :D

Wow, I find the comments on this forum quite bewildering at times. I’ve been going on Turf since 1968 and have witnessed some truly awful performances and I have witnessed us struggling against and getting spanked by some truly shite teams, mostly in the lower divisions of the football league. We’ve had some golden moments along the way. Most of the time fans of this great club have known the situation/financial restraints and precarious position we’ve been in and have accepted all of that and got behind the team. SD came along virtually guaranteeing our existence for at least ten years. He got us promoted to the top table playing some wonderful football, and he’s kept us in the premiership competing against some of the top teams in world football. Because of our financial restraints, whilst in the premiership, we will never have the players to allow us to win with flair but has built a team to compete there. If you can’t comprehend where we are and who we are, Go support another team, there’s plenty of teams playing attractive football nearby (although in the lower divisions) and you can have a right good moan when they get spanked 1-4 by Rotherham. That Burnley team out there today gave 100% every team member, and got us another win in the premiership, and didn’t play half bad at all. I’ll settle for that every weekend, thank you very much!!!

They have had some decent away performances with their massed ranks at the back. Today was always going to be attritional rather than entertaining. Why can’t folk just be happy for 3 desperately needed points and move on.
If nothing else every week they give us some talking points.

Wasn’t dross imo. Do something else if you want and come back when and if we are relegated at some point. It’s no problem if you prefer that. Many of us like being in the PL It is hard to believe you’ve been going on for years and years if you call that dross. Some of the Division 4 stuff appalling by comparison.

Only one Bellend on this thread, the one slagging of his own team for keeping a clean sheet and winning a premier league game against a side that had a 40 million pounds striker playing on the wing.Who have more fans in one stand than we can fit in the ground.Triple the budget, etc etc

Another numpty expecting us to play like Liverpool and finish top 6

Completely agree, i always thought when Pulis was at Stoke and West Brom that I'd hate to watch that every week, now we've become that team.

Still dont get what the earthly point of an ST was in the 80s.......

Lots of people claim to have had one for millenia but I remember just walking up with my few coins/notes and walking on. Still if claiming to have had one for all of known Claret history gives your opinion more gravitas, so be it.

Just remember the squad, faciilities, results and experience of those days. Happy to be mid table in the top flight. If your feeling nostalgic for the 80s try a few non league teams around the area (genuinely an interesting experience thinking it could have been us).
