Your personal hopes for 2020...
....not politics or football related, but your personal or family ambitions. Is there anything you are really looking forward to in 2020?

Health and Happiness for friends, family and myself
See my daughter keep developing and all the amazing milestones. Walk, talk, swim etc. Her reaction to the simplest of things melts my heart every day!
New memories with friends and family
New Experiences
Visit some new countries
New knowledge
New friends through work and travel
Keep challenging myself personally and professionally
Professional success (not necessarily financial - just continue to do better and learn every year)

this has been the toughest 6 months of my life, lost my Dad and Uncle to cancer and had 3 operations since July - but nothing gets me down for long, roll on 2020, onwards and upwards and all that.

I’m so lucky. Very rarely ill and never anything serious. I’ll never be wealthy but I’ll never be poor and that’s a blessing. I love all my family, close and extended, and they are all in good shape also.
I just wish people could be nicer to each other. The world is so angry.

I have to undergo a routine procedure on my heart on Thursday which hopefully will mean I will be firing on all four in the New Year instead of three and thereafter I will be more active.
Me and Mrs Loup are off to Costa Rica at the end of Feb and I am looking forward to spending more time with my grandson who can now walk and hopefully soon will learn how to kick a ball, he is quite good at throwing one already.

Stent?
I had mine done 10 years ago. Had a few odd twinges at first but then the body seems to get used to it after a few weeks. Maybe it was mostly in my mind?

Re: Your personal hopes for 2020...
2019 was a crap year for me, the Cancer diagnosis and the subsequent treatment. Because it was head and neck, I'm still not over the side effects of the Radiotherapy. But I'm really enjoying life again, and I've found I dont stress nowhere near as much as I used to do. Has it changed me, christ yes....but I'm still here.
So 2020, small steps and continue to enjoy life.

A better year than 2019, which saw me diagnosed with an aggressive cancer and Mr Brucefanclaret diagnosed with Parkinson’s. Surgery and chemo for me and medication for him seem to have done the trick - for now, at least. So - get back in shape, enjoy time with our grandchildren and just enjoy still being here!

2019 has been good to me, a new job where is feel valued and appreciated improved my life immeasurably. I’ve levelled up in my profession, my salary and most importantly my home life. I work, so that my family can enjoy a good life, it’s an added bonus that I’m quite good at it!

This is my guide, it's not copied from anywhere, but purely from personal experience. 35 years watching Burnley and other personal stuff. Reading these aspirations of others on this board may be hard. I feel I am in a good place so want to help others and I feel these aims will help you, especially if you are not in a good place. Basically keep your aspirations real and positive.
Give yourself something to look forward too each month. Whether just a little trip somewhere a Train to somewhere fresh or spoil yourself with something nice.
Sleep more. Go to bed earlier. Sleep will happen and helps no end. Put that phone down.
Reduce time with negative people, we all know the type.. The ones who make you recoil when you see them.
Reduce caffeine. It messes with you head. Literally.
Reduce alcohol. See above, an under reported cause of anxiety.
Eat the food you want in moderation. Don't stress about food too much , but eat plenty of natural foods when you can
Reduce watching the news. It's not good.
Reduce overthinking when you can. Do a random new hobby. Or download a good game.
If none of that works then contact me via this messageboard or speak to some one. Never be alone. Always reach out.
Make 2020 your year. Most of it is in you own hands, you just need to believe that and act upon it.
