Ex Claret demands more cash

Post by Bordeauxclaret » Sat Dec 14, 2019 10:15 pm

Ex claret defender Graham Coughlan at Bristol Rovers seems to be doing a good job, win away at Ipswich, then in press conference says he doesn’t think the club can match his ambition.

Then a club in the league below makes an approach for him.

Hard done to these managers.

Had to google him. Ex-Claret? Well, he played two games on loan in 2007.

Yep, I couldn’t tell you which games they were.

Seems to have the tendencies of another ex claret in management.

Do managers at that level get particularly well paid. I thought not but I don't know.

He was on loan from Sheffield Wednesday for the last two fixtures of the 2006/7 season and played in a 0-0 draw against Luton at the Turf on 31 March 2007 and then came on in the 88th minute at Birmingham on 7 April 2007 after John Spicer had put us in front in the 80th minute, we held on to win 1-0.
