Cup tie v Posh - how do you select a certain seat?
Cup tie v Posh - how do you select a certain seat?
I’m trying to buy tickets for the cup tie against Peterborough. I can find the bit that lets me pick the stand and the block but it doesn’t give me an option to pick specific seats. Anyone know how to do this?

Should be able to pick them, if you are using a phone it may not show the ground where you can pick your seating area and seats, better on laptop or tablet.

When you get the plan of the ground up, select the area you want and then the map of available seats come up.

Ah. That’s probably it. I’m trying to do it with my phone. I’ll fire up the laptop and give that a try. I wouldn't worry, you'll be able to walk around and choose almost any seat you want if the availibility
of seats around me is anything to go by.
Today is the last day for season ticket holders to reserve their own seat I seem to remember.

1 ticket in my block sold in the CFS
Re: Cup tie v Posh - how do you select a certain seat?
I completely forgot to book mine and now I can't buy four tickets, even two season ticket holders, it just defaults to three. I'll put in a bit of effort, but I'm not that desperate to attend. Why do they make it so difficult?
Re: Cup tie v Posh - how do you select a certain seat?
Thought a ST holder could buy 4? Just tried to buy 4 and it would allow me to.

Ground will probably be that empty you'll be able to sit where you want anyway.

Will wave to the lonely wizard all alone in that block so you don't feel lonely m8
Re: Cup tie v Posh - how do you select a certain seat?
I for a bit of fun just tried to buy 8 tickets using mine and my brothers Season Cards on friends and family ... No problem... didn't actually buy them but emptied my basket ... no difficulties whatsoever
Re: Cup tie v Posh - how do you select a certain seat?
Thanks for the replies. Managed to do it via laptop as advised. And yes there were loads of seats available in the JMU when I got my tickets (does this mean they might close one of the stands?).
Anyway - £20 for three tickets. Regardless of the team (and performance) that we put out this has to be a good deal.

Did it leave one seat on its own? I had the same problem, but when I moved rows, not leaving a seat on its own it was fine

Re: Cup tie v Posh - how do you select a certain seat?
The limited amount of time to purchase seats, 95% of fans going on will be season ticket holders anyway so think the time allocated for those sales should have been longer. Think quite a few people will have been caught out by the swift turnaround.
I remember reading the prices on here last week but the finer details still hadn't been decided. Luckily mine are still available and have now been purchased.
As has been suggested above
1. You can still buy a ticket at the reduced price (if you're a season ticket holder)
2. Upload it to your card if your season ticket seat is still available.

Not sure that that's the definition of a farce!Goody1975 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 16, 2019 5:47 pmThe limited amount of time to purchase seats, 95% of fans going on will be season ticket holders anyway so think the time allocated for those sales should have been longer. Re: Cup tie v Posh - how do you select a certain seat?
No, it didn't leave a seat on its own. I can buy the three seats next to my own which is what I want, but not my own. I can't even buy mine in isolation - I get a message saying 'Shopping basket entries are unavailable. Please try again later.'
Edit. It appears to be a problem allowing you to buy seats on the end of an aisle (which mine is) if I try buying any aisle seat along with the three along the row, it only allows me to buy the three. Never had that problem before.
