Re: solution To group Together scattered out seats
We have had this discussion before.
People were very reluctant to even move just one seat to get pairs back available.
Open seating where a stand is sold out won't work though. There wouldn't be grouped seats still available to those that leave it late.
It might get people in their seats earlier but that would be a loss of revenue to BFC in the bars.

Make a stand unreserved seating and you have to reduce the capacity by 10% - no club is going to do that.Longside4evr wrote: ↑Mon Dec 16, 2019 11:04 pmbring back in one stand the sit anywhere scheme at the start of as season just as a trial if the stewards assess this it would work

It's never worked in my experience.

When/how have fans been asked to move 1 seat to free up pairs of seats? I find it really difficult to understand the reluctance of people to move just 1 seat.Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Tue Dec 17, 2019 9:04 amPeople were very reluctant to even move just one seat to get pairs back available.

Re: solution To group Together scattered out seats
There was a big thread on here about it, due to people wanting pairs of seats in the family stand to take kids on.
Then the last 1000 seats to be sold being single tickets got discussed.
But people moaned saying they wanted to stay in their seats that they had for years

Re: solution To group Together scattered out seats
Ok, cheers. So it wasn't a formal request from the club.Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Tue Dec 17, 2019 9:47 pmThere was a big thread on here about it, due to people wanting pairs of seats in the family stand to take kids on.

Re: solution To group Together scattered out seats
there has been a seat empty to us for the last 4 seasons (JM Upper), we'd shift along one to open up a pair of seats. The club need to go through the seating plans and then just ask the question. I'm sure at least 50% would be happy to move a little. People might even get better seats

JMU is particularly bad for the "free" season ticket scheme, you "may aswell" get a free childs ticket with you're adult.
Also you need to be with a child to go in that stand so people who like the view, can request a childs ticket with theirs with no intention of using the childs one, so they can sit in the stand.
I'm aware of people who fall into all of those situations listed above.
Means empty seats every week, sometimes into the 1000's

You are right about the empty seats though, even against Liverpool there were a lot of unoccupied seats.
