What is this doing parading around our town?

Post by MACCA » Wed Dec 18, 2019 12:32 pm

Saw this earlier today whilst going about my daily business, I was nearly sick.

Can understand it some what in Accy, but right here on our main roads

I hope we have one over there advertising premier league football, and watching Lancashire's number 1 club!

It's a free country, mate. The way I look at it is that it's nice of Blackburn Rovers to put money into Burnley's transport infrastructure and, at the same time, advertise the fact they have a dwindling fan base.

You're a little fish in a big pond boy. I know what you look like and that you live in the stoops! So be careful. Don't die a hero

Have you missed the point Macca ?

"I had to get up in the morning at ten o'clock at night half an hour before I went to bed, drink a cup of sulphuric acid, work twenty-nine hours a day down mill, and pay mill owner for permission to come to work, and when we got home, our Dad and our mother would kill us and dance about on our graves singing Hallelujah"

You're right, but dont worry, I dont live down there, I was merely driving past to show my kids the results of not performing well at school.

Probably still are a spotty teen judging by some of the rubbish you post on here.

Not sure what a care wash is, but no I don't work or own any business around there.

I am very happily retired and have lived in that area since I was 4 years old. Good place to live, honestly, it is. :D

There's a Burnley equivalent bus that I've seen in Darwen and around Blackburn regularly.

A care wash is what Blackburn folk call a car wash.

Ahh so you've never managed to get out of the ghetto then?
You could always come round to mine for a meal if you want to see what life could've been like if you had done better at school?

Yeh, that sure is weird. Never seen a doggy bus before and that thing wearing an Alice band waiting to get on is creepy.

Don’t know whether it’s brave or foolish to be having a bus round Burnley with that on it. Might be fine on the main roads but if it goes up stoops or somewhere I’d be expecting a brick to go through that rear window in no time.

The irony of this is the money they have paid to waste their time advertising in Burnley...absolutely clueless from top to bottom is that club. Who said there’s no such thing as bad publicity.....

Threatening them with Park Hill Convent School were you. I presume it is still there, further up on the left?

That bus has been around for months - often on the number 2 service which is Higherford and Worsthorne. I did refuse to get on it one day and waited for the next one. When they were in the Premier League they used to advertise season tickets in the Burnley Express on a regular basis.

When I first set up my Locksmithing Business in 2005 I used to get regular emails from Woe-vers asking me if I wanted to purchase a box at Deadwood and/or Corporate deals also the Blackburn Ice Hockey team as well ......
