Kenny Lynch RIP
Goodbye to a massive talent from the 60s & 70s. Actor, singer, comedian he could do it all.
RIP Kenny.

Re: Kenny Lynch RIP
I'm guessing there is a reference there to a song by Kenny Lynch called 'Movin' Away', which became a very popular floor filler on the Northern Soul scene many moons ago.

Re: Kenny Lynch RIP
Was a regular on TV when I was growing up. Great sense of humour. Was presenter on Ready Steady Go!
Mostly I’d like to thank him for writing The Small Faces “Sha la la la lee” a song that has travelled through life by my side.
God bless Kenny, thanks and sleep well. I feel like I knew you, like so many others.
RIP Mr Lynch.

Sad news. KL was on our screens in all sorts of programmes and films, in those early years.
Thank you for helping entertain us all.

Re: Kenny Lynch RIP
On you tube his daughter commented on his music saying she did not think anyone would be listening to his songs as he was not known for his singing.
Re: Kenny Lynch RIP
Got a few singles by Kenny. Wrote a fair bit of his own material as well.
Re: Kenny Lynch RIP
He was one of the stars of the Tarbuck/Forsythe etc era and for a black guy at the time to be so popular showed what a performer he was, that style of entertainer not my cup of tea but he had to be that bit better then the average to get on the tele. RIP.
