Can anyone help me get two tickets to the United game?
Can anyone help me get two tickets to the United game?
My girlfriend and I are in the UK from Australia during the last week of December and wanted to try and get tickets to the Burnley v Utd game. I have less than 100 loyalty points though so can't purchase until Friday. Problem is that looming on the club website doesn't look like its possible to get two tickets or at least not where we'd be sitting together.
Anyone got any ideas of how we can get tickets?

Try contacting the club and explain the situation to see if they can help?
Speak to supporters club to see if they have contacts/members who can help?
In reality, you are 36hrs from being able to purchase.

The points rule is in place to prevent away fans buying up tickets in the home stands. You’d be surprised how many people register for this board with no intention other than trying to get tickets for home games when they can’t get any in the away section.clarethomer wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2019 10:20 pmTry contacting the club and explain the situation to see if they can help?

The best thing the poster can do is contact the club directly via the SLO to see if anything can be done.

Can appreciate the skepticism but if you look at my post history, I think you'll see I'm a genuine claret.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2019 11:23 pmThe points rule is in place to prevent away fans buying up tickets in the home stands. We deal with the Supporter Liaison Officer for most things but I wasn't aware of any overseas liaison - there again, I'm not overseas, just up at the top of Manchester Road.

Although not reaching 44, or anywhere near, it’s been ridiculously warm here today although apparently it’s just a one day special.

Re: Can anyone help me get two tickets to the United game?
Went into the ticket office this morning with my son to hopefully buy two tickets for himself and his son . We was "greeted" by a young lad with about as much charisma and customer skills as a cardboard cut out. After showing him my clarets number, we were told in a monotone voice that there was no tw0 seats together vacant in the entire ground. we left disappointed, only for my son to check immediately online to find two seats together ! he went back into the office to be told they are not supposed to sell these tickets. REALLY? Thanks to the person in charge he was able to purchase 2 tickets. Maybe the front of counter staff need a little more training in customer relations.

If it's block one lower longside they don't put it on sale until all the singles have been sold in the ground.ZizkovClaret wrote: ↑Fri Dec 20, 2019 4:52 pmAssume they were corporate sponsor or player's tickets that were newly released

About 20 seats in that block were put online early this morning but singles were/are still available in the JML and U.
