Injuries
Don't want to be missing these two at Bournemouth that's for sure
Re: Injuries

Re: Injuries
not that I can see on twitter, mention JBG getting an U23 game which is good
Sure CT would have watched the press conference and will do an article

Re: Injuries
Think I've seen somewhere Taylor has trained all week and will be in the squad..

Re: Injuries
Just looked on the official site and it seems like Taylor and Kevin Long are back in contention. Although Taylor might have to wait for Pieters to have another shocker before he gets his place back.

Re: Injuries
good news is that Nathan Ake (no doubt Bournemouth's best defender) is out of the game
Re: Injuries
SD: “Johann got through 60 minutes in a reserve game, we have an U23 game Saturday, hopefully he’ll get 90. Woody has a knock on his Achilles, we’ll see how he is, Westy has a tight groin, Charlie Taylor, Kevin Long trained all week, Gibbo had a niggly groin, doubt he’ll make it”

Re: Injuries
Taylor should walk back into the starting 11 but will Dyche change a defence that has just kept a clean sheet? Will be surprised if he does

Re: Injuries
Probably back in after Saturday. He should be straight in as he is a better player and we are a better side with Taylor in it.

Re: Injuries
Is it just me but I hate it when Managers refer to their players as:
Gibbo
Corky
Woody
Westy
etc
Can you imagine Ferguson, Clough, Paisley etc coming out with that??
Probably is just me.

Don't think SD limits himself to those silly names, just ask Bardo

Re: Injuries
It's not just you, I feel exactly the same. Dyche has been a great manager for us but I still prefer the boss not to be ' one of the lads'. I would rather, he used first names, if possible. It's an age thing with me,I think.CaptainKirk wrote: ↑Thu Dec 19, 2019 5:07 pmIs it just me but I hate it when Managers refer to their players as:

Re: Injuries
Talk about missing my point!
I am damm sure even Gary Neville never called his Manager "Fergie" either to his face or when talking about him and wouldn't do even now.
It doesn't matter what the rest of the world might call him.
There should be a definate gap between players and managers and this nickname thing is wrong (in my entirely irrelevant opinion).
Having said that - I don't think for one minute there is any "blurring of the lines" between our Manager and his staff.

Re: Injuries
Listening to SD's interview, I would expect both Westwood and Wood to play on Saturday.

Just take your fleet of expensive cars up to Barley and park them outside his house and see if he gets your point

"Westwood has a tight groin"
There's a few women in Burnley could do with a bit of what he's on!

Re: Injuries
I'm with you on that. Chris Waddle was the worst practician of this annoying trait. I'll let Mr Dyche get away with Drinky though. Couldn't be more appropriate!CaptainKirk wrote: ↑Thu Dec 19, 2019 5:07 pmIs it just me but I hate it when Managers refer to their players as:
