For the life of me I can't think what this guy has achieved to warrant such a prestigious job so soon. Only time will tell whether its a good appointment ,but I'd have thought at this juncture the'd have gone for someone with a more experience.

Emery cloud has a silver lining for Arsenal,how many PL clubs now have ex-players in charge,OGS at United,Lamps at Chelsea,Chris Wilder with Sheff Utd,and Arteta at the Emirates,suppose it makes a pleasant change from the usual suspects.

He''s got a heck of a job on to get Arsenal back competing for a top 4 finish,this season will likely be a steep learning curve,but if he survives their future could be bright,i wonder if he'll take a leaf out of Lampard's book and promote some of their promising youngsters.
