Todays footie

Post by Tricky Trevor » Sat Dec 21, 2019 12:42 pm

Anybody know why Coleman & Keane are not playing today?
Injured, dropped or rested for their big game on Boxing Day?

Looks like dropped. Poor game so far with zero shots on target.

Everton really are poor when you consider the money they've spent.

u23s won 3-1 to go back to the top of the division. 8 wins and 8 draws in 16 games!

Lewis Richardson with 1st and 2nd, Olly Younger with the 3rd. I wasn't there but they did well in the 2nd half to come back from being 1 down at half time against a good Birmingham side.

*The u23s next game is away at 2nd placed Forest on 7th Jan - not quite a title decider but a win would see us very nicely placed for the run in

Liverpool back to full strength for the final.

Liverpool XI: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Van Dijk, Robertson, Henderson, Keita, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Mane, Salah, Firmino

They'll need to play a lot better than the other night as Flamengo are no mugs.

I watched the semi-final, reckon this could be a good game - I hope. The SF was very dull.

Both teams play a pressing game so i don't think it'll be dull. And both possess matchwinners so there should be goals.

Watford vs Man U on soon.

I don't want Watford to win, as they'll only be 6 points from Southampton. They aren't down yet.

No foul on de gea for disallowed goal. Contact but no foul. Just to put our position in perspective we are 15 points clear of Watford before today !!! And they are not that bad a team. I would love Hughes in our squad. Works so hard

And only 4 behind Sheffield United considering how well they have been doing.

How are Watford so far adrift after they did so well last season. They aren't that bad and same squad as last season.

They're not looking all that bad at the back today (don't know how many they've conceded, though), but they just can't score.

As I posted earlier, if they (and Norwich) don't turn things around, they won't reach 30 points.

Man U really are quite **** at times.

Dismantle Man City one week, then turn in a performance like this against Watford.

Another howler from De Gea,followed by a quickfire Deeney penalty,of course you just know Man Utd will hit form when they visit the turf next week.
