It is a good job there aren't extra points for style or goal attempts as we would certainly get relegated.

The league table shows us with 24 points from our 18 games which is double what we had at this stage last year! 9 points above 18th placed Villa and just 5 points behind 4th placed Chelsea and a Champions League place :)

Happy for the fans and the 3 points but not the performance. Other results pretty good for us

that was pretty dire, hard to tell with the conditions though they must have been bad as the commentators never stopped referencing it.

happy for 3 pts but just about the worst 90 minutes of football i can recall seeing from two sides

Cant knock 24 points, just brilliant...digging them out. Big January for us, more so than ever. Let's not just get over the line, but do it in some style.

Goes without saying really but tbh I will be surprised if they can find any highlights apart from the goal.

Burnley will survive again. Brutal game, poor performances from many, and we’ve come through with that 1-0 win of the type we saw in the Championship days. And it really does feel good to get one over on Eddie Howe and his way of playing once again.

Up the clarets.

No chance. That game has the side story of the 2 new managers, the media lap that stuff up.

Good use of subs. Brady and Lennon just gave us the opportu ity to pick up the ball more in their half and stop them yet to g that quick ball out.

For the last 10 we were the better side but for all the work on the back foot in the 2nd half up to 80 mins we didn't really look like conceding.

Sensational smash and grab. Great rise and header.

Naughty Madge ecstatic!

3 points and the Jingle Bells was sung with gusto.

Up the Clarets and a very Merry Christmas to all.

Fantastic leap by Jay but unwise to go sliding on his knees after it - anytime by anybody silly but especially when you've had serious surgery.

Yes - makes me cringe that. Not because I think it's OTT celebration but I see it as fairly dangerous to knee health. Certainly on some of the pitches Ive played on in the past you'd be risking leg injury. Obviously Prem pitches are super-duper but it still makes me cringe.
