This will be career ending unfortunately.

Having an internal defib will give him a shock if he goes into VF (a rhythm not comparable with life) but there is a chance it won’t work. Also if it gets bashed during a match that could damage the defib or cause other issues e.g. rib fractures.
Increased heart rate usually increases the risk of going into arrhythmias in these circumstances

Awful for Blind but he’s fortunate he has found out this way. Muamba was very lucky to survive

Yep i can't see him playing again,with his knowledge of the game you'd hope Ajax will find him a coaching role,he still has a lot to offer the game,i guess it's better he finds out this way,before something more serious occurred.
