Corbyn's Christmas Message

Post by dermotdermot » Tue Dec 24, 2019 5:30 pm

Utterly and totally the most cringeworthy thing I've seen for quite a while. If anyone is taken in by that, they need their head examined. Not just delusional, the man just has to be demented.

He's an honest and decent man unlike that serial liar and cheat Johnson. The Christmas message was apt and to the point. What's not to like?

It's the queen in disguise!

It's a Christmas message. A useful reminder that all is not well with everyone.

Let's heed the message.

A merry Christmas to all on here. Let's look forward to a peaceful, prosperous and healthy New Year for ALL.

Miserable bugger. He didn’t need so many lights on his tree. He could have donated some to someone in need, and the tree and the cost of making this dreary recording.

It’s interesting, this whole thing about Labour.
Locally you have Cooper who refuses to thank all the people who worked on the Election Day, normal practice for years.

Nationally they are going to get together a whole bunch of Labour people to have a post-mortem on why they lost.

Just about every person in a northern street could tell, will Labour work it out. NO they won’t

His xmas message just shows how deluded Labour are at this time.

Most sad is the necessity to listen to Christmas messages, not only from our politicians but also from the anachronism that is the Queen.

When did these Christmas messages from political leaders become a 'thing'? I think it's bollock and I can honestly say that I won't be watching any of this bunkum.

Fair enough - the traditional one from the head of state, but political leaders? Do me a favour. Does anyone really give a toss what either CJ or BJ have to say at this time of the year? If you do, then try and find something better to obsess about.

What? He’s neither honest nor decent. He’s a terrorist sympathiser and an agent of a foreign power. He’s a buffoon who thought the honest decent people of the United kingdom would buy his lies and false promises and he was rumbled. Proper sussed.

Not suggesting for one minute that Johnson isn’t what you say he is. But come on, wake up to yourself. Corbyn is an absolute disgrace, and having him as the PM would be a massive, massive mistake. Not just for the sake of the economy, but for security reasons. He’s an absolute liability. Edit: and the worst thing to happen to the Labour Party since the HUGE own goal that was electing the WRONG Miliband to be leader.

Thanks for the Sun / Daily Mail inspired rant, but on security you’ve actually got it backwards: https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.busine ... ary-2019-7 On top of all this there’s also the incident in which Johnson visited an ex KGB spy’s palazzo in Italy without his security detail, while foreign secretary, and was photographed looking very hungover by British tourists while on his way back. Why leave the security detail behind? And why also refuse to release the report on Russian interference?

As for the Corbyn hatred on here, relax - he lost the election. It’s like the press has radicalised you over him. “Die Corbyn you traitor”? Really?

I'm no Corbyn fan but give it a rest FGS,wishing death on anyone is weird at the best of times, let alone in the season of goodwill.

This attitude says more about the poster in :?: than Jeremy Corbyn, didn't the PM state he wanted reconciliation in our politics now the election has concluded.

It would really have been better for all concerned had Corbyn just resigned after losing so heavily. Instead of doing the decent thing, he has decided to linger around in the hope that he can oversee the succession of that silly little woman from Salford. He had his chance and he blew it.
Instead he rolls out this pathetically pretentious Christmas message as if he still thinks of himself as the Messiah. I thought for a minute that he was perhaps being sardonic but then remembered that he has absolutely no sense of humour whatsoever.
I think that most people have simply had enough of him. I know that I have.
Incidentally, does he still receive his extra £75,000 per annum whilst he basks in this ‘reflective’ period of transition. If he stays for three months or more, that’s at least another 25 thousand quid. Perhaps he intends to donate it to his favourite charity.

Brainwashed by the Sun! "...he has absolutely no sense of humour whatsoever." "...still thinks of himself as the messiah" - simultaneously ignorant and vitriolic. Amazing that you can get so angry over things that aren't even true. Strange too that you'd quibble over £25K, and not over the money Johnson is paying out for special advisors: https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/p ... 55666.html (with so many special advisors, you have to wonder why we're paying Johnson anything at all).

Just like the foreign owned right wing press, you're unable to just criticise Corbyn's ideas, policies, and politics, but have to invent or twist things about his personality. Next you'll be saying that you won't be happy with the Labour Party until it has kicked out anyone who has ever had a leftwing thought. :)

I don't know why any of you get so hot under the collar about politics, your opinion carries no weight whatsoever in Parliament nor influences anything.

The recent period of EU flag waving, 'Stop Brexit' chanting mobs plastered on the news every day is proof.

The last time anyone had real influence on Parliament was around 1653 :(

Merry Christmas to all Clarets everywhere.

He'd have made a better vicar than a politician. He'd actually be a half decent vicar by the sounds of it. A wishy-washy one but aren't they all these days?

It's perhaps a shame that his evangelical fervour for ideology didn't take a more Christian path.

The minds of people are no longer swayed by mobs waving placards, but more surreptitiously by the posting of fake news and propaganda on social media platforms, which took place continually throughout the election campaign.

You need to keep up. The terrorist sympathiser slur was one used by the Daily Mail /Sun for a few years but has been disproved and disparaged over and over again. Corbyn was one of the first to propose negotiation arguing that you have to meet with these people in order to gain peace and ultimately save lives. Eventually the message got through and there must be countless thousands of people walking the streets today who owe their lives to people like Corbyn. Unfortunately mis informed people like doing the Tories dirty work for them and repeat the lies ad infinitum. Corbyn is an honest and decent man and if calling for peace makes him a terrorist sympathiser then I to belong to that club.

Corbyn is a manipulated facist brainwashed into believing he could bring about a revolution.
His right hand man McDonnell was far more dangerous, a dictator in the making.

Their stance on Brexit showed them for exactly what they are - manipulative. They shunned democracy.

Me of my first tasks in the new year , is to stop my payments to the Labour Party.

I hope they elect a new far left leader that leads them into the political wilderness.

What we need is a new party that would represent the modern UK. Shame it’s unlikely to happen

You must live in an alternate universe!!!

Jeez. Unbelievable. An example. How many times have good meaning western governments snd leaders tried to reason with Iran. What has been the result? Kid gloves and they increase their terrorist support and proxy war activities. In the case of Corbyn when has he ever supported UK in a stand off or a diplomatic row? Never.

You should yry to understand how the world works.

Nice colour baubles on the tree.
His sentiments are genuine I believe but I cannot help but think he has an alternative agenda to destroy the UK.
