Re: Liverpool
This was supposed to be their banana skin, and they've gone to Leicester who were unbeaten at the King Power before tonight and romped home by a country mile.
If that isn't a statement IDK what is.

Re: Liverpool
Wonder if some Leicester fans are crying about it not being good enough.

Yeah! there's some on the Beeb feed complaining, here's a flavour of the contents.Bordeauxclaret wrote: ↑Thu Dec 26, 2019 10:06 pmWonder if some Leicester fans are crying about it not being good enough.
Always knew it would be tough against Man City and Lverpool... but the way Leicester have played is disappointing. It's like the players knew they were gonna lose so just surrendered...got to improve to stay in top four.
I'm seriously baffled by Rodgers' tactics today. Cannot believe he didn't change it at half time either.
Vardy seems so isolated up front, Leicester midfield need to push up more. They are just punting it up forward, and it's returning that much quicker.
Top of the league or not Rogers is showing far too much respect to his old side. It's practically a flat 5 midfield and Vardy is isolated up top. Get Maddison in the middle and let him find those pockets of space to feed Vardy before the game is out of sight.
Shows even the more successful fans aren't happy,FGS they have played Man City (champions) Liverpool (champions elect) in their last 2 games, and they're still sitting 2nd in the table at least until tomorrow night.
And people think Burnley fan's are demanding

Re: Liverpool
Fantastic team. Whether with the ball or winning it back they are always on the move.
Best side I’ve seen since the noughties Barca, when Messi was at his best and Xavi was pulling the strings.

Re: Liverpool
Could have been 10. Just wondering what the Leicester %pass rate was, but I suppose you have to have the ball to record one.
Re: Liverpool
We always kinda laugh at the French Ligue 1 just how dominant PSG are but they are nowhere near as clear from their nearest rivals as Liverpool are. I'm loving it and what they are doing.
Re: Liverpool
am just happy there will be another Champion beyond the usual 3 suspects that have dominated for what seems forever except for the one off result which was also fantastic to me.
Re: Liverpool
Could win the Champions league again as well. Going to take a very good side to beat them.

Re: Liverpool
As much as I dislike Liverpool and their fans, you have to admire how ruthless they have been!
