Re: Chelsea (a) - General Info Thread
Whats people's plans? Is there still that spoons outside the ground for away fans?
Re: Chelsea (a) - General Info Thread
As far as I'm aware there isn't a Spoons outside the ground. The nearest one is at Fulham Broadway Centre. I'm not aware of any away fans pubs close to the ground. Last time we played there we managed to get in the Butchers Hook opposite the ground. It was advertised as home fans only but we had no colours and got in. Only had 1 drink as a bottle of Peroni was about £7!.Earls Court is popular and is only a couple of tube stops away.claretcarrot93 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 08, 2020 11:01 amWhats people's plans? Earls court is where we are heading enough pubs to split into smaller groups and still get a drinkLeisure wrote: ↑Wed Jan 08, 2020 11:21 amAs far as I'm aware there isn't a Spoons outside the ground. Re: Chelsea (a) - General Info Thread
When we played there in the League Cup the recommended away fans pub was the White Horse, close to Parsons Green tube. I have been there a couple of times since and it has been a mixed fans pub, usually have a BBQ outside and they sell a decent range of ales last time I was in there. But, as with almost everywhere in that area, it's not cheap.

Get into Euston at midday and heading straight to Earls Court to The Courtfield Tavern for beers then onto Fulham Broadway.

There are loads of expensive 'boutique' restaurants/ bars around the ground, if you're really stuck. (and there's only a few of you) you can get drinks in bottles quite easily.

There are no trains running up to Wimbledon, so for those who would come up that way to change for the District Line it's a bit annoying. Last time there were no tubes. So always something.

Earls Court is a good option because it is then walking distance to Stamford Bridge from there. We tend to use Earls Court tube station before and after games there to avoid the Fulham Broadway queues.claretcarrot93 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 08, 2020 12:11 pmAh right, cheers for the info.
