Today's footie
Big win for Stevie G at Parkhead finished 2-1 to the Gers,Morelos saw red yet again though, the guy really is a clown.
Arfield came on as a sub late on,he'll be dreaming of a league title now,and let's be honest that's why he went north.
The gooners 1 up against Frank's Chelsea,Aubameyang early doors,i can see a red in this game as well,it's pretty feisty.

Another big clash of heads at Arsenal game. Seems to happen a lot more often these days. Time for players to wear crash helmets

Re: Today's footie
I'm just watching the Arsenal game and players with the same coloured shirt are passing the ball to each other on a fairly regular basis.
What's that all about ?

Re: Today's footie
Chelsea are so hard to predict since the 7th December they've lost at Everton, next lost to Bournemouth at home, then went to Spurs and won,Boxing Day they lost at home to Southampton, and today they've gone to the Emirates and won,

Accy 2 up at home to Burton, heading for another 3 points, they're looking good for survival at that level again, what a job John Coleman is doing on a tiny budget.

Always happens by xmas.

They've just said that if the ref had blown for the handball BEFORE the ball crossed the goal line, then
the goal would not have been allowed !!!!!!
WTF ?

Re: Today's footie
Strange, after Arsenal getting a new manager in I thought Chelsea would be playing for a 0-0 draw today, isn't that the usual plan to deal with a "new manager bounce"?

Lads listen, this might not go down too well with my fellow dons fans (really hope there are none looking in) but I am GLAD they won today. We've had a little bit of a hoo ha re Cosgrove red card last week. I find Celtic to be as an equally ODIOUS institution as Sevco FC.. today the medicine was dish best served cold.

Re: Today's footie
Sheff Utd still using overlapping centre backs away at CIty, VAR is about to rule out a goal for them because an armpit is offside

Re: Today's footie
Chris Kavanagh tackles a Sheff Utd player and CIty score - simply has to be over turned as the ball hit the ref but it doesn't because it's run by *****. I'm done with football, time for everyone to boycott the shambles that it the PL
Re: Today's footie
It doesn't matter if it hit the ref accidentally or if he kicked it in on purpose laws say it's a goal.

Re: Today's footie
That's they can disallow goals for an armpit being offside, yet they allow City's goal despite it being questionable for a couple of reasons.Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Sun Dec 29, 2019 7:11 pmChris Kavanagh tackles a Sheff Utd player and CIty score - simply has to be over turned as the ball hit the ref but it doesn't because it's run by *****. Without the benefit of the VAR replay, it's hard to work out whether the ball flicked off the referee and to a City player or if the ref unintentionally blocked a Blades player.
If it's the former the goal has to be chalked off and a restart i think,if it's the latter i'm not sure off the laws, but either way Sheff Utd can consider themselves unlucky, especially given their disallowed goal in the 1st half.

Re: Today's footie
It’s a big club decision just like at Liverpool earlier. If I were sheff u I would keep passing at the ref as hard as poss. Think that would make the point
