Well here is mine.....I Have gone on the turf over 55yr and never have we played opposition with the financial power or strength of squad
compared to ours as we are doing at present even in the old first division the odds were not stacked as heavily as they appear to be now
and that includes media coverage!
We are still in there upsetting the odds and I think we will survive again this year ( anti football for daring to draw at the mighty Chelsea )
I have said on previous threads that OUR team is a freak of nature, in theory little old burnley should not survive at this level, well certainly
not for four seasons. I hope I am right but these spoilt brats better get used to us upsetting the apple cart.

Nice one Terrier.

My positive moment of the week, was the crowd reaction after the 2nd MU goal, right at the death.

It was greeted with a whole ground, 'Burnley, Burnley, Burnley', which I happily joined to do my bit.

It was to me the reaction which said to our team if 100%ers that we understand their commitment and efforts to try and get a result, against enormous odds. We are right with you all.

Up the Clarets.

My positiveS are

Season tickets were frozen again and available on direct debit, so it's never been as easy or as cheap to watch Burnley play at the highest level

The books are well balanced, the club is the richest it's ever been, and the accounts are a pleasure to read

We are well on course to hit the season objectives

I'd go with the crowd reaction when we actually bothered to start passing the ball to each other - hopefully the season defining moment, it couldn't have been lost on the manager

12 months and 5 days ago we had 12 points... it was doom and gloom by all and sundry.

We beat West Ham and went on a run ....

In 2 days time we play another team in Claret and Blue difference is we are on 24 points double the points of last season...

Get behind the lads, the manager, each other....

Leadbelly, I understand your meaning but when people try to give good vibes about the present it seems the orient game is thrown into it as a put down
massive moment in our history but so was beating Liverpool fa cup final 1914.
We are now at a completely different level and time!

We're well set to retain our PL status.
Most of our key players are on long-term deals,so if they move on we'll be able to demand large transfer fees.
The youth set-up is the strongest it's been in years.
We have a number of the squad that could be playing in the Euro's next summer.
