Connor Gallagher
Looks a prospect in tonights game for Charlton
The problem is our previous Chelsea loanees have flopped
Lets check this guy actually fancy East Lancs in Winter before signing him
A loan with an option to buy though looks like a good deal if Rigg can sort it put

Re: Connor Gallagher
He's not going to come here to get splinters in his bum !
Besides, as you say, our record with loan players from Chelsea isn't exactly sparkling is it tbh ?

Re: Connor Gallagher
It's difficult to see any decent player who isn't injured, wanting to come.

Cork did very well!

Re: Connor Gallagher
To be fair two poor teams and Gallagher probably has not had one of his best games tonight.

Re: Connor Gallagher
Just earned Charlton a penalty with a surging run into the box.
Converted 2-1 five to go.
Remember them ?

Remember what, surging runs, penalties or goals?.....Funkydrummer wrote: ↑Mon Dec 30, 2019 9:29 pmJust earned Charlton a penalty with a surging run into the box.

Re: Connor Gallagher
Probably Charlton.
Some clubs let us have young players so that they can have the top flight match day experience. The likes of Chelsea will have several young players who have little or no match day experience. Any game time will be a bonus.

Re: Connor Gallagher
Apparently we are leading the race to sign Gallagher in competition with Swansea West Brom and Leeds.
Lets hope he gets the lowdown from Bamford, Chalobah and Drinkwater.

Re: Connor Gallagher
Can we have 2 loan player from the same club?
Re: Connor Gallagher
I'm guessing he would be Drinkwaters replacement. You have to question whether leaving Charlton where he's playing every week to come and sit on our bench for 6 months would be a good move for anyone.
Re: Connor Gallagher
I understood us to want to buy him, not loan him
Re: Connor Gallagher
They will want around 30 million for him so no chance him coming go Burnley

Re: Connor Gallagher
Why would Chelsea ever bother loaning us another player, especially a young prospect? They get about as much use here as they would do sat in the stands at Stamford Bridge.

Re: Connor Gallagher
With the bottomless pit of money they have they're not really risking much by sending him here. If he does well, they can keep him or sell for a much bigger fee. If he flops, they'll probably just cancel his contract and move on.Flying Without Ings wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2020 2:50 pmWhy would Chelsea ever bother loaning us another player, especially a young prospect?
