John Swift
24yr old cm at Reading who has put on some excellent performances in a poor side
Looks like he could step up a level and with Readings parlous financial state may be a potential signing.

Re: John Swift
He might end up somewhere as a really big player in a small team.

Re: John Swift
I'm sure his travels will make a good book one day.
Seriously, hes been one of the most talented players in the championship for a few years. Good athlete, technically excellent. Theres been doubts about his consistency but more particularly about his durability - looks as though hes beginning to answer the first of those (hes got rave reviews this season) but even this season hes only managed to start 17 of 25 league games to date. I imagine that's why hes not being strongly linked with a move.
But yes, a name to watch.

Re: John Swift
if we signed every player for whom you've started a thread, we would have a hell of a big squad.Woodleyclaret wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2020 6:58 am24yr old cm at Reading who has put on some excellent performances in a poor side

Re: John Swift
Same name as my grandad so would be nice to see that name line up for Burnley, even if Grandad didnt give a toss about football

Re: John Swift
Cheers Tony but usually they are worth a punt at
We still have scouting ans recruitment issues that need addressing and any information re players that fans have seen is a bonus
Didn't Belgian Claret talk up Defour.
We have a 50% success rate in our recent signings so I will continue to post if I see potential
For the record I didnt want Danny Drinkwater anywhere near my team

Re: John Swift
Rumored this is a done deal already. Dyche lauds Swift transfer business.
Now that's a headline you'll never read. Unless it's on the 31st of course..

Re: John Swift
Thought we were starting the new year off with a bit of a classic literature thread.
