Dyche analogy
Dyche and Burnley is like a relationship that’s lost its spark. Neither of you want to admit it but it’s best you shake hands, move on and just stay friends.

Re: Dyche analogy
Southampton 2017 - you were telling anyone who cared to listen outside St. Mary's that it was time for Dyche to go, that we needed a foreign manager to take the club forward.1989_claret wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2020 2:47 pmDyche and Burnley is like a relationship that’s lost its spark. Crystal Palace 2018 - demanding Dyche went, ranting as you left and then, shamefully, having a go at people on social media who didn't agree with you
Now at it again - and yet not once did you suggest it during the second half of last season or early this season.
How strange.

I've never shook hands when I've broke up a relationship,I generally have a farewell shag...each to their own though1989_claret wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2020 2:47 pmDyche and Burnley is like a relationship that’s lost its spark. Your memory is very poor. Southampton in 2017 I was pro Dyche. We were on a roll. Also, shamefully having ago at people on social media? That’s not true.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2020 3:27 pmSouthampton 2017 - you were telling anyone who cared to listen outside St. Mary's that it was time for Dyche to go, that we needed a foreign manager to take the club forward.

St. Mary's mate - WE NEED A FOREIGN MANAGER - that's what you said. You were stood queuing to go in. Nothing wrong with my memory I can tell you.1989_claret wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2020 3:44 pmYour memory is very poor. Southampton in 2017 I was pro Dyche. We were on a roll. Re: Dyche analogy
same thing occurs with our players, one minute Barnes for example is the epitome of fighting spirit, 100% every game, as soon as things get a little unsteady its" Useless, all he does is blah, blah .
You barely hear a peep from those slagging off dyche when there's an upturn in fortunes, they just seem so knowledgable about his lack of talent when the chips are down..pathetic

You misunderstand the role taken on by moderators as it applies to this board.Danieljwaterhouse wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2020 3:50 pmWoah woah, lets lock this before everyone gets too upset. You can’t moderate and then get drawn into senseless who said what when arguments.

What’s worse is he wasn’t ‘drawn in’ he was the instigator and is a moderator. Ah well, it’s CT’s world and we’re all just living in it.Danieljwaterhouse wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2020 3:50 pmWoah woah, lets lock this before everyone gets too upset. Re: Dyche analogy
Has ClaretTony’s account been hacked ? He’s said something on another thread which amounts to a criticism of Dyche. Unbelievable, Jeff.

Re: Dyche analogy
They do a decent job protecting some from silly comments that would end up with them in trouble. Particularly when Oysten was prowling the boards for money making chances.
They’re also human and fans and tempers run high. Sadly they can’t walk away and calm down, they have to read all the tosh and personal attacks and try to keep calm. It’s a damn tough job.
We could do with more communication as to why, but they might not have time to do so.
Let’s be a little more understanding!
