Couldn't face getting up at 4:30 to watch us given our recent form, reading the match day thread it sounds like we've taken a huge step backwards. Interested to know what the crowd reaction was at full time ?

Loads of booing at half time and some booing at full time. Defo signs of the crowd beginning to turn.

Better than half time where we were booed off much to the dismay of mee and tarks.

That said at full time Ian Woan had a right go at someone in the cfs for airing his views.

That's not a good look. Fans and the assistant manager shouting at each other, if that's what's happened here?

In woans case looked like one individual. At half time it was most of the bottom of the stand.

I didnt go on today....1st time in a long time of being able to attend and not. Glad I didnt. Had a great day with the kids and treated them with the money I would have spent going to watch the shower of sh%% we are presently serving up.

Dont care if people say I am a fair weather supporter for missing 1 game this season at home and about 10 in the last 25 years. At the end of the season reckon I could have missed a few more too. I dont have links to Burnley so never really gone for the friendships made and pints in the pub before and after. I have gone for the football that the team I have and always will support put on. At the moment and for the last couple of years I have been getting less and less enjoyment. Just might be having a little break until Dyche is gone

Also VAR hasnt helped

Thousands streaming out boo-ing going on discontent running round the ground
I never leave early but today sealed it first half i so players disinterested holding their kidneys like they'd had a heavy night

walking passed the junction where the old wellington pub stands and i got handed a season ticket off a chap who regularly makes the 400 mile trip up and down he will not return again till things change and that encludes Dyche's negative shite his words my gain

Money well spent I'd say CC. I'm getting fed up with it myself and was at everton, spurs, sheff utd etc and the football is dire. Its supposed to be entertainment at the end of the day and im far from entertained. Hopefully things improve rapidly oh and btw im Dyche IN

Only 19561 for a bank holiday fixture has to be a worry for the board. Not the money angle but in terms of support required if we are going to stay up.

That includes all the season ticket holders who didn't bother as well. I'm sure there was plenty today, my Dad didn't bother and that's unheard of.

I feel the same. Live in W Sussex so it's a fair old slog up to Burnley, no ties either. My last home game was Palace which was enough to put me off for a while. It is difficult to motivate yourself to make a day of it, at expense too, to watch us at present. VAR definitely hasn't helped, ruining the game but that's another story. Lovely start to the New Year

There must have been lots of empty ST seats, no way were 19561 on today...... very concerning when fans don't bother turning up and ST renewals are due out soon.

I had a better time with my kids today than most of our home games in probably the last 2 years. I lie not, when I told them this morning we werent going to the football they were so happy ha ha. I am gutted my kids are losing their interest in coming with me and my dad to the games. I understand its different for people in the town who meet up with their mates. They are the lifeblood of the town and club. But for me....its a no for a while

On tv, 12:30 KO - the "morning" after new year's eve - that will always take numbers off - unless we are on a winning streak - which, we all know, we aren't. :(

Whilst I am far from a fanatical supporter I do like to go to as many games as possible. Unfortunately the last home game for my son and I was Chelsea. Not good. Chelsea away is an easy one for us, particularly my son who lives in Wandsworth but at the moment neither of us fancy wasting our money which is a shame because last seasons away fixture at Chelsea was great entertainment.

I haven't been to a home game since the Palace match. This is not because of the 'football' but because of a herniated disc in my back. I have, though, been able to see the games on tv( Spurs excepted) and I thought that the Newcastle and Bournemouth games, although dour, showed the resilient fighting qualities which have, generally, have been the hallmark of the Dyche era. Yesterday, though, the stands looked to have loads of empty seats and where my ST is (JML) looked, even, more sparsely populated . Off the TV, it seemed like the grave when compared with noise at Southampton, Watford and Norwich.I can understand anyone with children will find, even the aforementioned victories 'a hard sell' I sit with my great niece and her dad is
having to 'bribe' her to come to games and they travel from Ormskirk(bet it's a quiet journey home).
