Tom Heatons injury

Post by Woodleyclaret » Wed Jan 01, 2020 6:34 pm

According to Sky Tom has done his acl so out for the season
I wish him a speedy recovery but feel this is good news for us moving into the season as Tom is a class keeper.

I’ve not seen it back, I assumed he’d collided with the post but guessing not with that injury?

Feel very sorry for Tom.

Out of the Euros, 34 this year so you wonder if he will return to top level football. Really hope he does.

Terrible news for Tom. I wish him a speedy and full recovery. Best 'keeper I've ever seen in a Burnley shirt.

Sad to see. Two serious injuries at the turf. Hope he comes back. Time may be against him for England. But at 34 does have a couple of good seasons left at least.

Not only the best keeper but one of the best players and captains I've ever seen for us.

If this is the case it’s a real shame. Good luck with your recovery Tom.

Wish Tom a speedy recovery, also Wesley, however also if they are out long term it helps rather than hinders our objective.

Hope he gets back playing though, and hopefully in the top flight.
