Team to play Peterborough

Post by Im_not_Robbie_Blake » Thu Jan 02, 2020 11:33 am

This is the team that I assume is both likely to play and is probably our 'reserves' XI

All of them should see it as a trial for first team place.

Hart, Lowton, Long, Gibson, Pieters, Lennon, Hendrick, Drinkwater, Brady, Vydra, Barnes

I would play same again from yesterday - not as punishment but to get something out of the game

We all know it won't be worth the admission fee. Having said that our 'reserves' could not be worse than what we saw yesterday. Peterborough must be rubbing their collective hands.

What makes you think that team would get a result against Peterborough ....I wouldn't bet on it.

Well if Benson has the potential some think he has, why not give him a game.

Peterborough are flying high and our lot must be in a pit of depression (at least they should be if they have any pride) so I am considering a couple of quid on Peterborough to win, giving me a win/win situation (although with my luck it would be a draw).

The opening post's team has merit, with hopefully Benson and Koiki on the bench

Hart - I'd sooner we give BPF some game time.
Is Lennon fit enough to start a game?
Gibson & Vydra appear to be not being risked at all (not even on the bench) - either injured or leaving this window?

I'd be surprised if Barnes is playing. He hasn't looked fully fit recently and hasn't been managing 90 mins so for me resting him would be my number one priority.
