I was going to go, but I’ve decided to stay at home and buy Man Utd tickets instead.

Staying at home. Seen enough. Doubt I will be back as we are heading down. I can live with that, but seriously just listen to the rhetoric from Mike Garlick. He knows we are finished as a premier League team this time, and yet has no plans to try to arrest the slide with even a solitary midfielder we so desperately need. Criminal in my opinion. I’m out!

Sean Dyche admits it is "unlikely" there will be new faces added to his squad in the January transfer window.
The window opened on New Year's Day, closing at 11 p.m. on the 31st, but Dyche expects it to be difficult to bring anyone in to bolster his options.

I started this thread but I'm wavering now . Surely there will be a reaction to the Villa game to make it worthwhile going on,bfcjg wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2020 9:31 pmI'll give it a reluctant miss. Our attitude in cup games is poor and generally the performances are so as well. Mainly though it really is hurting watching us at the moment and I don't want to be as miserable this Saturday at home as I have been this last couple of games.
Kicking a dog when it's down? Maybe but I don't want to get any more down and one less miserable sod wont make a difference. In fact the more empty seats there are even at a tenner the penny might drop that we want some excitement.

Really looking forwards to tomorrow, jusy booked a table at an Italian in Manchester before watching The Bodyguard.
Will go for a few pre meal and show drinks too.
Should be a great day, did think of going on then going over, but dont want my day spoiling.
Will used the money saved to buy a homeless person some food or a hot drink instead.

Re: Are you missing the Peterborough game ? If so why ?
I've seen us beat Peterborough plenty of times, no need to trouble myself with this

What are you struggling with Wile E?
I wouldn't have gone on if i had no other plans and it was free.
The league games are becoming unbearable, I'm not paying extra for the privilege.
I'm taking my own advice of, "if you're not enjoying something, stop doing it"

I am off on hols tomorrow, so could not face the long journey, although would really loved to have cheered George Boyd, on his return.

Bought tickets for me and my gf's little lad so I'm committed (I should be for going)
Also ****** off because my brother who I rarely see is coming over this way metal detecting in Gisburn, found out too late or I would 100% have not bothered going on.
I am on the other hand looking forward to see George Boyd running two marathons chasing the ball, he'll show our boys what hard work is all about.

I’m off for a walk over the tops into Hebden, via Jack Bridge(New Delight), and Heptonstall(White Lion), finishing at the Fox and Goose.
I’ll check the score later.

At the risk of sounding like I meant to post on a different thread - couldn't be arsed!
With £50 fuel or train fare before I even think about buying coffee/food/booze it is bad enough getting to a game I already have a season ticket for

Can you still get on free mid 2nd half . Used to be able too when I was a kid.
