He was found to be a charlatan by 'Most Haunted' yet still managed to be taken seriously, so did well for himself considering he was about as psychic as a sponge. Fair play.

Most Haunted's Yvette Fielding has issued a blunt tribute to her late co-host Derek Acorah after the pair fell out over a botched episode of the show over a decade ago.

Acorah died last night aged 69 after he got a sepsis infection following a short battle with pneumonia.

Ms Fielding, 51, who also presented Blue Peter, tweeted: 'Our condolences go out to Derek’s family at this time x.'

Show business preying on the vulnerable. At least the TV authorities eventually made them put a strap on saying the programmes were for entertainment only. Most haunted was the " most faked" but they made a lot of money out of it.

Derek Acorah was investigated by the Advertising Standards Authority just weeks before he died after being accused of bombarding members of the public with misleading online posts.

One of the messages read: “Derek here, your loved ones in the Spirit world have a message waiting for you! What is it & who is it from? Text ‘DEREK’ to 85358! £1/per msg, max 3, terms apply.”

The reports of his death refer to him as a ‘Medium’ when he was proved to be a charlatan. It was a fraudulent act imo. The Michael Jackson seance with the obsessed fans is worth a revisit for amusement with the absolute bellend fan crying.

Derek Acorah's masterful channelling of Michael Jackson and bringing a very special message from beyond the grave to a grieving fan.
