Burnley FC Women

Post by bfcmik » Sun Jan 05, 2020 3:13 pm

Beat Nottingham women 2-1 in the 3rd round of the Women's FA Cup. The big teams get added to the pot for the next round so there could be a tough draw for them.

They have only lost 1 game so far this season and have a definite chance of a 3rd successive promotion. Here's hoping they have a good cup run to compliment a league success.

Well done to them ! There's is a fantastic success story .....
They deserve more plaudits on here, and less " jokes " that, frankly weren't that funny in the 1970's when they were first heard ...

The title of the thread has been changed, which makes some posts look strange. Iam sure the original title was done on purpose, so don't change it when you get the reaction you were looking for

The original title, apparently, did not reflect what I meant it to do. The 'jokes' (if that is what they were supposed to be) just pointed out to me that the thread title needed changing so that appropriate praise and respect could be given to a good team representing the club
