Nice to see a small team play some decent football against 1 of the Big 6.

Haven't needed to spend millions of pounds either.

There are, but they are more expensive at this time of year, apparently.

Lack of contact, but Bamford goes down.
Taylor is the most infuriating ref in the prem for giving free kicks because the player goes to ground. Can't whistle fast enough.

Is that what we're judging it off now? How many teams are in the same City. How did they ever get relegated to League 1 if that's the case?

What an absolute pleasure to watch a team show pace, urgency + guile. Making Arsenal look poor. They have spent very little putting the team together as well.

Hope Sean + that bloke Rigg are watching + taking note.....

This is why Leeds will stay in the Prem next season when they come up. They could stay up with the squad they have now, nevermind the money they'll have after a takeover.

Feels like Leeds have had more shots in 27 minutes than we have this season. Hate to say this but I'd pay to watch them........ I feel dirty typing that.

This Leeds United, playing well.
Didn't they win (almost) the European Cup once?

Ooops.
Bamford bounced off the ball.

I know what you’re saying but they will have to be more clinical up front if they want to survive.

I'm sure they'll bring in better than Bamford.

It just shows though that you don't need to spend millions upon millions. If you're a good coach you can get a team playing good football.

If I were Vydra I'd jump at the chance to go and play in this Leeds team if the offer is there.

But remember kids, there's nobody in world football within our price range that could get anywhere near our first team.

And why Phillips would never come to us.

True. But I’ve seen Burnley playing good football against clubs a lot bigger than us in one off games, but end up getting beaten.

It does make a mockery of the absolute flannel that Garlick/Dyche trot out that there are no players around that we can afford to add to our squad.

If I was M Rigg, if almost all players were available, I would be looking at most of the Leeds players rather than any of the Arsenal players.

This is why I didn't want Vydra going to Leeds when they were meant to be sniffing around during the summer. He'd do brilliant for them.

Too many of this Leeds side look like Championship players - having a stormer (hats off to them) but needing an extra second before shooting. Bamford a prime candidate.

A shame, they'll lose now, and should be a few up. This Arsenal performance is the worst I have ever seen by a big six side. A real shame Arteta will have them sorted out by February when they come to us.

I’ve just watched that first half and Leeds have battered Arsenal. They’ve stretched the Arsenal players out of position. We play far too narrow. Our wide men always stay short and drift inside.

Yes because a team of players that cost nothing compared to our squad are playing like this against Arsenal. It blows the notion of unavailable players out of the water.

Leeds have played attractive football all season. They have a very good scouting network and keep producing them. It's looking likely they will come up and going on this season so far I think they will be okay.

The problem at Burnley isn't financial. Not wages, player costs, framework, constraints, "the market", budgets or any other guff they come out with. It's recruitment. That Leeds team cost about the same as Gibson + Vydra.

To put into context, Bielsa has lost almost double the amount of games Dyche did in his two Championship seasons already and there’s still half a season left.

Some excellent stuff from Leeds first half, spoiled only by having Bamford as the sole striker, hence the 0-0 half time.

For me it boils down to the manager's philosophy.

Leeds have given it a right go, having made a number of changes from their last league game which was against West Brom, so they wont have rested anyone for that.

We would never have set up with anything like that game plan under Dyche. Even against League 1 and 2 teams we just wouldn't. We try and out scrap teams every game, something that lower league teams are more used to, hence his terrible cup record.

Who said mediocre players cant match the elite by playing the passing game albeit against an off day Arsenal. Sean might want to watch how to to pass and press against a better team. I hate Leeds, but they'd wipe the floor with us right now!

Bielsa has spent far less than what Dyche did in thise 2 seasons. Plus Dyche had the advantage of having a season in the PL inbetween in which he spent £££

Only switched on at halftime but it’s taken me 10 minutes to realise Leeds are in their away kit.

Just glancing at it, it looks white
