Body found in Towneley Park

Post by FactualFrank » Thu Jan 09, 2020 1:36 pm

I did a search but nothing came up, which surprised me as it's from yesterday.

Did anybody know him?

RIP poor man. I was in Towneley yesterday walking the dog when the 11 police cars and vans arrived and went to the wrong stables (they went to the farm) instead of the Stables cafe. The police had been in the park the day before searching with drones.

Without showing disrespect - i don't think that was the best choice of words Frank.

Here we go...... I'm going to insinuate that I may be offended, on behalf of others who may be offended, by some words with no offence intended when they were typed or even clear why someone can see why they've been taken as showing disrespect..... even when attention have been drawn to said words.

I think no nay forever was referring to Frank saying he’d “done a search but nothing came up”

Yeah knew Jimbob. Played football with him for Burnley Wood for a few years. Nice lad and a brilliant footballer. Not seen him for a while. Real shame to read this. Really sad. His dad had something to do with the miners.

Played football against him myself, grew up around the area so knew of him, didn’t know him to talk to but a lot my mates did. Very, very sad

Played against him for a few years and with him for one or two.

Much preferred the latter, he was untouchable on his day

Gutted - He was a good lad

Absolutely he was a very skilful player with a great left foot. And a nice but reserved lad in the time I knew him.

So? If you are bothered by it then don't join in. It really is that simple
