DYCHE IN DARK OVER BURNLEY BUDGET
Burnley boss Sean Dyche admits he still does not know how much money he has available to spend in January.
You've got to have the money, that's the biggest thing
I'm still not clear on what money is available or will be available
More of this on short video from press conference on SSN transfer watch

He's just occupying time, spouting drivel as he has to face the media.

Re: What's my budget
Dyche employs the same tactics with the media similar to that used by some posters on this message board by dealing in extremes rather than facing the facts. Rather than answer questions put to him by the media he was larking around saying he had just received news that Messi was signing for Burnley. A reporter responded by saying "you tell us every news conference that you've got no money".
If Dyche does not know on 9 January how much money is available to him in the January window then perhaps he is not as fully involved in the running of BFC as many would have us believe.

Re: What's my budget
What he should be doing is saying I have been told I have 15million max to spend
That way if he bids 15m for someone nobody would consider bidding 18-20m knowing we can't match it. Which other manager has come out and revealed his budget to everyone else ?

Re: What's my budget
What he is doing is trying to deflect any blame on nil/poor signings from himself

Re: What's my budget
Nothing new, nothing to get in a tizz about. Come back in the last 3 days of January, if we do get anyone I doubt we'll hear about it before then.
Time to get behind the lads on the pitch, and try to avoid Sky Spots News, and the transfer centre.

Re: What's my budget
So last week it was very unlikely signings would be made in jan? Now it's a maybe depending on how much dosh the Garlick maister gives Sean..
Re: What's my budget
At least he can poke fun at himself when he said Messi wanted to come because of the style and quality of football we play

Re: What's my budget
Why on earth should he tell anyone whether he has money to spend or how much?
I never tell the car salesman how much I have to spend?

Re: What's my budget
Maybe all the idiots who do nothing but whinge about Dyche could form some sort of protest group. All meet up next home game and let him and the board know how angry you all are. Might make more a difference than non stop moaning on here. Accept some might not want to do it during the game (some won't even be on) but going old school and outside the bob lord at full time is an option.kentonclaret wrote: ↑Thu Jan 09, 2020 4:39 pmNot disclosing the Transfer Budget how well has that worked out for us over the past few windows?
When people feel so strongly about something actually doing something seems a sensible choice.

Excellent idea. They could all share the same taxi home afterwards, unless they have a parent willing to pick them upclaretonthecoast1882 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 09, 2020 4:45 pmMaybe all the idiots who do nothing but whinge about Dyche could form some sort of protest group. The way some go on, you's think we were struggling to beat Derby's point total!claretonthecoast1882 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 09, 2020 4:45 pmMaybe all the idiots who do nothing but whinge about Dyche could form some sort of protest group. Re: What's my budget
I think some should stop spitting their dummies out about people crticising Dyche. You don't need to be calling for someone's head to criticise them. He is not God and is fallable. People should remember this.

It doesn't really matter as he's already said there's not likely to be any signings.Down_Rover wrote: ↑Thu Jan 09, 2020 4:36 pmWhy on earth should he tell anyone whether he has money to spend or how much?
