This is great to see hope we get Cat three next year if we have applied, I dont know where we are on that but would certainly give us better scope

We left Cat 3 in 2017, now Cat 2 and bidding for Cat 1.

Jon is head of the academy so will, I assume, be leading the bid. I would think it will be spring sometime when we are audited.

Absolutely, wont be many championship sides that can say that ;)

The question is how long we can sustain it at that level, it's quite an expensive luxury at that level, and eats into your yearly budget.

When we played the under 23 at Elland Rd last year i could sense something very special, we are moving in the right direction how anybody can be negative on this issue i find it very hard how you could condone being a supporter

I'm surprised Ali Koiki and Josh Benson haven't gone out yet. Maybe they will soon, or maybe they're seen as being closer to our first team.

From what I've read about the U23's, I've recently regarded those two as the 'stars' of the side

I think we have to accept that the down side to getting good U23 players out on loan (which is a good thing) is that it leaves our team rather lighter and results may suffer.

I always think we look a better side when Josh Benson plays but he's fallen behind both Adam Phillips and Christian N'Guessan this season in terms of selection. Both those two out on loan now although I know a couple of clubs have been looking at Benson.
