Will dyche?

Post by Safron » Sat Jan 11, 2020 1:08 pm

Set us up to try to win the match or set us up to try not to get beat? Be nice to see us start as we set up in the second halves against villa and utd, I know we were behind in those games when we changed tactics but it would be great to be proactive rather than reactive ;)

Probably set us up for 0-0 or to nick one goal usual. As soon as we go one or two down in the first half it will be rearguard action all the way to keep it keep it at 2 or 3 nil instead of 4 or 5 nil.

Try and come away with only a 1 or 2 goal defeat.

Probably same approach, same tactic, and we wont adapt to explore their weaknesses, just sit their like sitting ducks hoping for a set play goal or a slice of good fortune.

Chelsea will know our plan, and once infront cruise to victory relatively unthreatened.

Just hope they either score late ish, or take their foot off the gas when infront , we dont want to ship 4 or 5.

let's be honest he doesn't know what to do with this group of players apart from what's been said (EDIT - AGAINST THE BIG SIDES). Sit back like sitting ducks and hope we get some luck and defend for our lives. We haven't had any luck today and a couple of forays forward but we look lost of ideas and seriously lacking confidence. Not looking good for the next month or so, we could be seriously in the muck after the next 4 games if we continue to play like this and concede shocking defensive mistakes

Take the blame for individual errors today and the very poor bias refereeing decisions?

Dubious offside for the goal disallowed
Lowton sliding in
Pope rooted to the ground
Foul not given on Tarky at both ends before the 2nd goal

Dyche will not change anything tactically
Because he can’t and doesn’t have the ability too. Dyche has 1 way of playing and likes to work on the psychological aspect of managing. The term busted flush is very appropriate for Dyche.

They never even put their foot on the gas, their easiest win of the season overtaking their win at Turf Moor..
