Game over and game plan finished. Doubt we’ll even get a draw and we are on 38 mins. Fans might as well set off home. Zzz

The ball bounced in front of Pope and it should have been a simple gather into his arms

jesus wept. Tarks slip, Pope makes a mess and Mee left it thinking Pope has it covered. Calamitous.

Shocker from Pope but how is Rudiger allowed to clatter Tarks with an elbow without a free kick being given? Not even looking at the ball.

Push on Tarks by Abraham but no idea what Pope was doing. 2 down to an awful Chelsea team. Wood struggling with blood. Third change of shirt and shorts This could be any score

Sounds like an increasing lack of confidence by the team now including Pope-didn't Villas first goal v Villa last week go through Pope's legs. You could tell from Pope's reaction he was at fault there too

We've gone here. Every single game now is error strewn and leads to us conceding at some point

I don’t expect much from this match but we’re denied a goal that wasn’t offside and then a dive

Hard to take

Stream off, time to enjoy a Saturday afternoon for a change.

A real shame after a really bright start, killed by Lowton. As soon as he slides in there this became a 3 or 4-Nil game.

VAR was harsh and unlucky but the penalty and their second have to come down to individual errors. Something we are sadly making a habit of late.

No one likes us.

Mee wasn't offside for the goal yet VAR ref gave it.
Lowton pulled out of challenge and William dived and VAR ref stood by it.
Abraham goes down in their box because a hand touched him in the face and gets a freekick.
Tarkowski gets clattered in the head by Rudiger elbow and gets nothing.

I was looking forward to VAR but it looks like it's just a way for the referee gentlemen's club to back each other's decisions. Either that or it's favoring the big teams still.

Pope flustered for the second, lack of composure.

It's ok don't forget to be proud of what we've achieved!!! I hope the board are looking at our bench and feeling embarrassed with no sign of strengthening.

Really hope he can turn our season around, but think this is one to many escapes.

We have been trying to play

We have had decisions go against us

We have still been responsible for conceding though - you don't slide in and you should be saving the 2nd. We can blame VAR, we can blame the Ref also but we need to look at ourselves too.

Really difficult to take and had we got points over xmas this may not have felt so bad.
